I think we have to be a little bit fair to our team. It is OK to point out when they don’t play as well but context definitely helps. Yes, we have some of those people back even though they’re returning from injury. The main issue that we’re having is that we don’t have Another ball handler and that is to nobody’s fault it is not anybody’s fault. They’re both Jalen Williams and AJ are down and then Alex Caruso is also down. There is the other three ball handlers on the team. Making SGA the only one who primarily ball handles he does have to take a break at some point. To also be fair the Timberwolves were just shooting good. They were having a good shooting night. The thunder has several shots where they were right there in their face and they made it. Is not really too much that you can ask.
I also think that we need to have conversations about the ideology behind consistent three-point shooters because with that being such a inconsistent shot and I’m not guaranteed shot the idea that there’s somebody consistently making them outside of Stephen Curry maybe is really unlikely. Isaiah Joe actually sits very high in the league percentage for threes And a lot of that is because he knows when to take them which is a good thing you don’t want somebody just jacking up a whole bunch of threes just to say they did so.
They had to fight for nearly every bucket. Yeah there were some open looks but the majority were defended well. SGA got in his middies but they got him off the ball a lot. Most of the drives to the paint he took were when he found open layup lines. Thats why he didn't draw many fouls tonight. As Nash corrected Van Gundy, SGA is 3rd in FTs
Wolves shooting was pretty close to their average. What was atypical from them was starting fast. They are usually a slow starting team.
Respect for not spending the podcast crying about the refs and fouls. Wolves fan I can't speak for all wolves fans who irrationally boo Shai and Okc.. I like the rivalry building between us rho.. I want to have to go thru Okc to win a chip I don't want the easy path avoiding them

Always crying about the calls. SMH! Why don’t you just play ball? Everyone deserves a call on almost every play.

And to be fair, they came in fully healthy. That definitely plays a part in how we can move people.

The guy on the right is putting me to sleep!
We watched a changing of the guard last night. Nobody is gonna beat that defense in the playoffs
