A 36 yr old Jimmy with an ACL injury who is not on a expiring is diabolical. Absolutely they will want Herro their they still need to fill seats and Herro is an all-star who is from there and can get buckets. He'll be an expiring contract next season and they can flip him then or extend him he's just about to hit his prime he's only 26. The heat can unlock more draft picks if the Charlotte agrees to lift restrictions off the 27 pick draft. Herro, Ware, Jamie and Rozier gets it done or instead of Jamie add Jovic and the heat take back either Porter or Portis back along with the Antetokounmpo brothers gets it done. May have to add another team in the mix but the heat have the best offer now or in the summer

That’s true they need to be like the nets and take bad contacts with picks attached. I thought about this last night but if you get 3/4 of the Heat’s young guys and they ball out, then that’s an additional 3/4 picks you can get for them. It makes no sense to take Butler if you’re Milwaukee because he’s not getting nothing at that age 🤷🏻♂️

I would trade Powell or Herro with Rozier, some first round picks, and a couple more players – Ware for Kyrie. Because it would be better to trade out West instead of trading in the East.

yes ware is better than kuminga, but podz better than kasparas or larsson. the biggest difference is the picks when comparing trade packages and lets be real, the heat don't tank and if they build a contender around bam and giannis, the picks miami sends are basically 2nd rounders whereas the warriors picks, steph could be retired by then and giannis could be on another team once that happens. And most important of all, with the warriors you get FOUR first round picks compared to miami's two!!! answer this question truthfully martell, is herro really worth 2 first round picks? assuming the picks from the warriors and heat are equal (which i just explained above that they are not) then how can you say heat have the better trade package? ware is worth 2 first round picks? How? When spo plays ware 7 mins?
another consideration that windhorst mentions is that the warriors are willing take on bad contracts like turner's 4-year contract (this is why jimmy's salary is important) whereas i haven't heard any reports that the heat are willing to do this as well, have you???
plus herro wants an extension so he will play but the bucks want to tank this year's pick as it's the first chance the bucks have had to get a high lottery pick for the first time since jabari parker in 2014, so jimmy injured this year and becoming an expiring contract next year would be better for their tanking situation right now compared to herro who is playing for his extension, you obviously don't listen to windhorst's podcast much as he explains this very well, and unlike you, he weighs all the facts 🤣
