There have been recent reports about the Clippers' interest in three offense-first combo guards: Anfernee Simons, Coby White, and Collin Sexton. After the Clippers were off to a poor start, DeMar DeRozan was considered to be a prime trade target for LA. Those rumors have subsided after the Clippers' impressive turnaround.
The Clippers are unlikely to break the bank at the deadline, and they are not very interested in taking on long-term salary because of their free agency aspirations. They will try to acquire a shooter who is on an expiring deal or make a lower-tier move to reshuffle the back end of their rotation.

I think Ballmer is looking for a championship basketball team to go with his new arena.
With that, it's time for a fresh start, this is not a championship team. Time for a new front office, trade Harden & Leonard if the contracts work out, get draft picks or young good players. Now, or off-season is fine with me. This team needs a direction other than Leonard, he is not a reliable player!
New personality, hopefully a better result for a mighty enthusiastic owner. He deserves better imo.
As a Clipper fan. If he can get healthy soon I want Dejounte Murray. He played with Kawhi in SA and the defense would improve. He's the pippen that you would have stick SGA or Luka in a playoff series. And he can get at least over 20 pts a game.
