Great show as usual. Don’t care about one loss, there will be many games against OKC this season.
But they do need to go 7-2 now. That is concerning.
Jamal was not good, yes he got good looks but he missed them all and his close outs were abysmal. He was on Wallace while Wallace lit him up from three. Team really needed him to have an all nba game and okc kind of owned him. He has had a great season though and his all star nod is well deserved.
Not sure why no grace is being extended to Jokic after he was out for a month. The clippers game was an enigma but that’s not largely the example with guys returning from injury and tonight was more in line with the norm. He’s clearly still rusty and getting his legs under him just to also get beat up all night and the team adjusting to one another again. It’s no surprise he was so annoyed. A long segment talking about how bad his demeanour and game was void of this context seems a bit unfair in my opinion, especially with how Jamal’s game is contextualized by good looks missed shots.
Overall the team seems tired after that gruelling January. This game is a bit of an enigma, I think. A lot went wrong for us, a lot went right for them. Process obviously matters but so many variables continue to be too fluid with this nuggets team that this was always probably a loss. Think the next one will be a better test of these teams. We need a lot better hustle on those close outs, that’s for sure

Do Nuggets fans really not see Jokic shoving everyone on the court? I know that Jokic tries to bait the refs into calling fouls but he definitely gives as good as he gets when it comes to pushing.
That game is the reason why fan across the NBA world say SGA is the best player in the world and MVP.
Sometimes i wish jokic plays like embiid shoot the ball more stop all these passing face up take some easy middys just do something jokic doesnt understand he is at worst a top 3 scorer in the nba

Murray and Hardaway missed a lot of open shots tonight. That’s it. That’s the entire game. Oh and OKC was redhot
