  1. We can’t go into the second half of the season without a backup Center.. I would argue we need two backup centers at this point.

  2. We still need RJ. He’s really the only one who gets downhill. Plus, he’s become a really good shooter.

  3. I would rather keep our key pieces than add a marquee big. We just need a serviceable big.

  4. I don't need a big move for a long term solution at center. I know we're not ready to go for it all right now, and if the right deal isn't there, so be it. But at least get a rotation-caliber big who can grab some rebounds. If we don't go far in the playoffs because we aren't good enough yet, we can learn and move forward. If we don't go far in the playoffs because we can't get any fuckin' rebounds, then it's a waste of time.

  5. Goga Bitazde isn’t getting run on the magic. He’s solid for a backup and probably cheap. Mamus Georgian teammate

  6. Borrowing the Bluejays blueprint of acquiring durable players like Gausman, Berrios, Cease, I think one of Sabonis’ important trait is he is a work horse. He has played 74+ games every season the last 3 years.
The Kings are interested in RJ but not in Poeltl.
The Raps could hypothetically put a package together like this to make the money work:

RJ, Agbaji, Walter, Mogbo, Temple āž”ļø Sabonis

  7. I wouldn’t mind trading a protected first for miss because he’s really young and already has shown he can produce. I would probably do our 2026 first round pick and Ochai for missi and salary filler or whatever is required to make it work. I would also do missi, Trey Murphy for RJ , Gradey and 2 first round picks. The lottery protected 2026 pick and a 2028 lottery protected pick. I would be willing to toss in the lakers 2026 second as well. Getting Murphy AND missi would help us a lot on multiple fronts.

  8. For the love of God stop with the Daniel gafford talk. He’s injured more than Jacob p, AND he’s really over rated. He’s not a great rebounder, shot blocker or screen. He’s just ok. If we are looking for someone on this level even dayron sharpe would be better. He’s a better rebounder and screen then gafford. Not a great shot blocker but he’s really solid positionally. Also he’s played with Scotty at mountvert academy. So they have history. Anytime they play each other Scottie is always talking and barking at him.
ā€œCome on dayron, what you got dayronā€

  9. First of, congrats Josh!

As for trades, any hope Raptors can do at minimum at the trade deadline. And perhaps look for bigs elsewhere. Maybe Serge or Dwight or other FA bigs available right now?

  10. Please!!! No more boring nonsense about Giannis Antetokounmpo! This is just filling wasted air time. I love watching the culture and chemistry of this team grow up together. Why dump all of that for a prima donna superstar? Ridiculous. Talk about what is realistic with small trades for a back up center.
