Dlo only cares about getting paid, not winning championships. Klay needs to go to a team that can create more shots for him. He can better utilized with a contender. You trade him for expiring contract. And Gafford is a player we can most likely get a 1st rounder for him

Please STOP it about Dallas needing to trade AD, if AD goes then so will Kyrie…this is why I believe he’s NOT coming back until decisions are made period…. Kyrie has EXPRESSED Many times that he’s in the league to play for Championship period. He’s NOT going to be on a Losing Team with no chance in the next 5 to 10 years. Once again, you are dead on, Marcel…. absolutely, Naji, Maxi, and Coop are untouchables… and i keep saying, dump AD at any cost! Do the math and we are paying him $4M per game played!!! We need that cash to pay for a lot of good young players…. like Ryan and BWill. And hate to see Gaff go but, if there is a good offer, we should take it… but that also means re-signing Dwight! I still think he should retire with the Mavs for all he has done for us. And Klay? He is almost worth the money for what he has done off the bench but again, if we get an offer we can't refuse, then let him go…. And i gotta believe that DLive is also untouchable but never gets mentioned. And Hardy seems expendable, along with D'lo….
Klay could easily get us 20+ points per game if we had a point who could facilitate. Our last loss was partly due to no facilitation of the rock in the last 4 minutes. No disrespect to Mr. Flagg, we love Flagg, but you can't expect him to have expert point skills and understand when to get Klay the rock. With the loss of B-Will and PJ so goes the game. If Cisse is dressed, we need to unleash this guy 100%, no more teasers. All of our players are getting better with time excluding AD. Keep them all. I would get Hardy some additional training with gym time because he has the making of a strong addition. The rebirth of Caleb is also no joke. I honestly think we are very close to being a major threat no matter what our record is. Though I have seen some improvement in Kidds approach to the game, he may not be the one to take the players we have to the next level. Sometimes good old common sense supersedes strategic coaching. I would recruit Dirk, Deven and Mr. Barea for coaching staff. Go Mavs!
Even if there was a permanent GM in place, there just isn't any realistic trade to make. Why would anyone trade a top tier player for AD? Why would a team trade anyone of value for him?

Klay has been a good vet. Helping the young guys while not complaining when he got moved to the bench. It's okay that he can't be traded, he also wants to stay.
Olay on a vet minimum or a cheaper contract is TUFF. Yall trippin. Klay is still a good defender and shooter. He just needs a PG now to maximize his offense, unlike before…. Or maybe that was always him. He played with Steph, but regardless. Klay next to Kai will be LETHAL. . He’s already been going off without him. He needs someone to draw the defense. Next to coop and Kai, Klay will snipe.
