PRECISION: Orlando Magic Miss Opportunity, Paolo Banchero & Jalen Suggs Must RESPOND vs Adversity
The Orlando Magic had every advantage in their favor in their matchup with the San Antonio Spurs. Instead they stumbled, letting a weary Spurs team outwork them and dominate the game with their aggression and physicality.
Orlando still had its chances to win, erasing an early deficit and taking a halftime lead. But the Magic could not get out of their own way with turnovers, fouling and other frustrating mistakes, falling on the road and snapping their win streak.
A lot of things went wrong, but Jalen Suggs’ continued struggles since returning from injury has put a cap on the Magic. Orlando is struggling to remain consistent with one of its key players still finding his rhythm and regaining his impact on a night-in, night-out basis.

Suggs plays with intensity now it's time for him to play with smart compose decisions…he do a lot of extra unnecessary things and needs to calm down he play as if he doesn't think about the outcome his actions can cause when it works it looks good when it don't it's like he have no idea what he doing…they're times where he makes passes as if he thinks he's John Stockton or Jason Kidd he needs to be more serious about his decisions and within his skills he also be going for home run plays early in the game as if he don't understand it's a 48 minute game… he basically waste positions with his decisions at times

Reality is Wendell is not the center for team.
This group is losing its focus on discipline & eroding the foundation of Magic Culture. It's time to bench some starters & trade others. Sure, that means more losses, but starters are already losing winnable games & the 2nd team players we have can't score.
I keep waiting for someone to comment this but let's be real, we have no leadership among the players. We're down 13 and no one looked p o'd. Keeping your head up sometimes is just not enough. Someone has to be the jerk to get this team focused. We can't keep starting games like this.

i think it's time we accept that Bane and Paolo are just not clicking. on or off court.
But they should pair AB + P5 together as much as possible. For me, they've been the best duo of the season (esp the last 2 months.) They've got a natural chemistry, play so well off each other. And w our weak bench, luckily they elevate the offense.
I'll keep saying this. We are who we are. A mediocre team in a very weak conference. Franz is not turning this around. We are not that talented in the second unit. Very inconsistent role players.
This 3-guard starting lineup can't rebound or defend. AB is better suited as an energy boost off the bench. JI needs more minutes, especially with Franz out, he should be starting.

I wish Suggs was a little steadier but he's somewhat bipolar, hyperbolically speaking. He gets as low when they're down as he gets hyped when they're rolling.
Get back to basics Magic, attack the paint. Get the and 1; get the opponent in foul trouble. Here's an example of how they lose games: At 6 minutes of the 3rd or 4th quarter Bane was on a fast break and Suggs was ahead of him, instead of cutting to the rim for an easy layup he went to the 3 point lane and just waited there. To make it worse, he got the ball and missed the shot in an awful way.
Okay that 2~4 week Franx timeline was complete bullocks as expected. But this injury is looking to be much longer than the 6~8 weeks I thought. Any idea when Franz is expected to come back actually?
Consistency! Plain and simple. Paolo and Bane had it going a bit lots of no calls on P5 especially but on a night like this your other 3 starters can’t go 6/32 combined. The bench produced points and good defensive efforts from JI and Penda. Both should have had at least another 5 to 6 min run with how bad Dell and Suggs were.
