I think the Heat currently has on a scale from 1 – 10, I would say an 8 for the Heat getting the trade done by the deadline.
On a side note if they land Giannis by Thursday, I wouldn’t be surprised that they also land Ja Morant.
Final trade for Giannis will be a 3 team with Detroit where Detroit will trade Ivey +1 and a FRP to Milwaukee for Tyler Herro.
These recent games have been an exhibition of why we are.the best in player development. That being said, we gott a find a way to keep JJJ. We need that pivotable rotation scorer.

I would never do this. Ware should be untouchable. We have a young core that is developing well. We can become similar to OKC (draft, develop, retain). Giannis is 31 and you would essentially be on the hook for 60 plus million a year for the next 5 years if you include the extension. I wouldn’t deplete our roster and give up our first round picks for a star that has a track record of injuries. Yes, I understand Herro is injured but he’s only 25. We should extend Powell, JJJ, and trade Wiggins if it comes with a first and young player. We will be off the hook from Rozier’s contract this offseason. Just look how long it took to finally have first round picks again after depleting them for Bron and Bosh. It was a great move but I wouldn’t want to give up our young players and picks for Giannis. The east is wide open.
