SGA DOMINATES in Thunder win over Nuggets, how close is he to best player in NBA?
Jason reacts to Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Oklahoma City Thunder getting an impressive win over Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets, where SGA showed he’s closer than we thought to being the best player in the NBA.

You look like a henchmen for a drug lord in Miami Vice.
Great Video.
The Thunder had players out in every loss that you mentioned.
Last year he was in the mix with Giannis and Luka for me, this year he is clearly better than them, but there is still a gap between him and Jokic IMO. But this season he is clearly the 2nd best player in the world.
I mean the Nuggets don't have 3 starters, so it's bad but not too bad right?
I don’t understand how you can still believe Joker is better then SGA. He’s outplayed him head to head for the last 2 years along with being one of the best 2 way players in the league.
I love the show but with all do respect: “The Thunder are not going to miss open looks” is just completely false. I’ve watched every Thunder game this year and we are bottom of the league at making uncontested open 3 pointers. The game vs Denver was an outlier for us as a team.
I love the show but just wanted to say that’s just not accurate.
Might be time to get some glasses Timpf. The Thunder led by as many as 18, not 13.
When those 8’s start looking like 3’s….. it’s time to see the local optometrist.
Murray needs to shoot better during the Thunder.
We could be 3 MVPs and 3 titles in 3 years deep into Shai's career, and some people would still not admit he's the best player in the world. It is what it is. He's not had his 2nd best player, All NBA J Dub for over half the games now. At this point, there's no reason to discuss it. Shai should just win another chip, it will take care of itself.
SO JOKIC made a STATEMENT every game vs OKC last season when he was making over 20 points 20 rebounds ahahahah
MEDIA keeps glazzing SGA
He looks demonic
Soooo many crybaby nuggets fans in these comments holy moly
Everybody better than Shai until its time to be better than Shai
Great assessment, it’s defense that beats the thunder or hope that they can’t make a basket. Regular season isn’t real basketball. Denver will be better on defense I think, if not they will just have to hope that okc is in a shooting slump. Come playoffs, you know the thunder will be better on defense. They will bet on Watson not playing so well and focus on joker and Murray every game.
Shai is really good. His game is often uneven in terms of entertainment value but no denying his skill. My Pistons are gonna take them down in the Finals though.
Goofy ahhh joker on his heel on the mvp race
Both of thee teams have nothing to prove in regular season just stay healthy and hopefully give young guys confidence
Denver is not a problem for OKC yall are so delusional yall want them to be a problem & they are not OKC is just better Denver was getting crushed while Shai was out there if OKC had another ball handler on that second unit last night it would’ve gotten even uglier by the way every team goes threw ups and downs throughout a season you prod casters and people in the media just want to see OKC fall so badly and they won’t
SGA is still averaging the same 32/5/6 that he always does. Luca has more points, more rebounds, and more assists while Joker has even more rebounds and assists. The only thing SGA has going for him is that he plays on a better team so therefore he gets more credit because they win more.
It’s sad to say that we as OKC fans have to watch podcast people (great podcast by the way) for OKC content or discussions about the team than tune in the ESPN (clearly paid off by the lakers to broadcast the lakers more than the defending champs) to even have them mentioned once in a segment.
