The Toronto Raptors Shouldn’t Stand Pat
Don’t mistake overachievement for arrival. The Toronto Raptors have blown past expectations this season, but the record doesn’t tell the whole story. Beneath the standings lies a team that’s been flat-out outclassed by the East’s true heavyweights, exposed by poor shooting, shaky rebounding, and flaws that show up every time the competition tightens. This video breaks down why standing pat at the trade deadline would be a mistake, why Scottie Barnes and Brandon Ingram are the clear pillars moving forward, and why improvement isn’t enough if Toronto actually wants to matter in the playoffs. Feel-good wins are nice, but playoff basketball is ruthless, and the Raptors are running out of time to decide whether they want to be a story… or a threat.

The Toronto Raptors Shouldn’t Stand Pat

Bro you nailed this analysis, love this piece, thanks for the continued quality vids 🔥
I don't need them to go all in for this season, but I just don't want to see them crash out of the playoffs simply because they can't get a rebound because they don't have a center.
I've to disagree with you in this one. I never do but this time. We can't trade 12 players cus shooting or rebounding unsucess.
Minor changes are necessary but let or allow them to find their way. This is realisticlly the first year those guys are playing together.
Too bad "The Austrian Hammer" is down. Too bad Ochai (who needs to get the hell out) not reaching expectations when Masai acquired him.
That three's shooting situation could be fix by getting some sleep.
Those guys love to🙃🙃 party all night (they think they're Denis Rodman type, shiit), and become real pro's…..
Preach! 💪
They can move IQ, Dick, Ibage, Walter and Poeltl. Apparently the Raptors said only Ingram and Scottie are untouchable.
A move needs to be made. I've heard for awhile about Masai not pulling the trigger on deals that now seem like greats moves not made. I expect Bobby to make something happen. To address some needs and improvement.
All true statements
They better make some moves for a big and shooting so many of their players cant shoot its embarrassing to watch
Raps need more size. Especially at the centre spot. They need a big man who can bully inside and get rebounds. Also, they need a real three point shooter! Dick, Walker and Battle are over. Get a proven guy already.
Just get a back up center ,, they cannot beat any top team,, so we trust the process,,we just don't have the quality right now
Get real. Last year they won 30 games out of 82 games. This year they have won 30 out of 51. You are talking as though you expected them to go from tankers to contenders in one year. I have news for you: that just doesn’t happen. Now they have to develop over the next couple of years. Mindless criticism like this doesn’t help anyone.
Just go after a really good young back up centre and dip under the salary cap
We need to make a trade but nothing earth shattering. Just get a backup big, maybe a reliable bench shooter and let it ride
If the Raps doesn't Get A Very Good Center, The Raps Will NOT Survive Second Round Playoffs, It will be Like NBA Cup. AND Scottie will be Over worked in Defense with no help, GM made some Idi@tic Extensions, The man can't assess A Great Talent to a Mediocre one.
I will not be Surprised, if He Got Fired.
This team needs a back up big. The offseason is where you make big changes. So I’m cool with waiting especially since this years draft is suppose to be strong
Well said! Tho I do think a healthy Poetl would’ve swung a few of those BOS/NYK games. He’s proven he fits our core.
So if we’re confident we can get him right, tweak by adding a reliable and proven shooter + a solid backup big.
I still believe in this group.
I just flat out disagree, especially at this point in the season. You won't get a good trade this late and none of the centres on offer are a particularly reliable investment
