I believe, Spurs are the main candidate to get Giannis, because they have Hawks 26-7 picks, and Hawks have main right on Bucks 26-7 picks. So, Lets try to get Harper (i preffer Casle, but Spurs probably won't trade him).

Giannis is my favorite player and i always dreamt of a scenario where he ended up with us . But as of right now our is future is really good with them picks and we’ve built so much team chemistry, so making a trade for him is a win now move which we’re clearly not tryna do right now
I don't see why Houston isn't mentioned as a suitor for Giannis. They have plenty of matching salary and the young talent to entice Portland to give up their MIL picks for.

Zero chance blazers trade those picks for OG or bridges. Those are the most valuable picks in the nba. If we’re trading them it’s fo Gianni’s himself

Blazers will probably look for a sharp shooter and with an affordable contract. They also need to make room for Sissoko and Love. A Rising prolific shooter is in the cards.
I’d assume Joe has probably already done some due diligence (maybe) by getting dame and jrue getting in contact with giannis. Hence the reporting is facilitating the trade, rather than being a main player. I have a feeling giannis already said no to us.

The NBA won’t allow Giannis to be traded to Portland. The NBA (Adam Silver) wants Giannis either in San Antonio, the Lakers, or the Knicks.
Giannis calf strain has prevented him from playing in 2 of last 3 playoffs. Nagging injury has resurfaced this season. Should Portland trade ALL the Bucks picks for Giannis ?? … nahhh… let the Warriors deal with limpy gigantasour. Portland drafting rookies is like "chose your own adventure" !!
These people chasing stars, has it really worked out that well for them? The Bucks are a perfect example. I like what the Blazers have done, helping facilitate the trades and capitalize on their desperation to make it work. Everyone thinks the Blazers' picks are the key, but they want the Blazers to get the short end of the stick. I will never forgive the Kiki VanDeWeghe trade; it never won us a championship.

i’d give up both swaps and 2029 pick if we could turn jerami and timelord into mcdaniels and naz. hyper unrealistic but some sort of 5 team deal: minnesota gets the antetokounmpo family and coby white, portland gets naz and mcdaniels, phoenix gets julius randle, chicago gets miles turner, bucks get jalen green, jerami, timelord okoro and a bunch of draft capital.
