Could you imagine how open the other three players will be open trying to guard both Giannis and Curry on the floor at the same time. Let's be clear. Any trade for the freak is with next year in mind not this year. He will not help GS win a Championship this year. They will rework the roster and make a run next year.
What actually stands out to me is how beloved Steph Curry not just to Warriors fans but to NBA fans. Not sure if I can recall any Warrior garnering so much love…..and we're talking about a team that had some of Wilt Chamberlain's best years. Seen Milwaukie in this position before when they traded Kareem, but the game and salary structure was just so radically different and….in my opinion, the talent level of the game today is remarkable. Again, what is truly fascinating is there seems a consensus desire to see this happen and make some NBA history in pairing two generational talents whose games would fit and complement each other to the extent that both players would benefit and elevate each other's production. I will also iterate that the ratings would surely skyrocket so the commissioner has got to love the idea.

If dray gets traded, I’d say he would opt out of he’s player option and sign with the warriors in the off season so we could have a mean defensive line up.

IMO: With Giannis' and Curry anchoring the offense and Green now free to anchor defense GSW would have a chance to reach the playoffs, perhaps further than the 2nd round. HOWEVER, is GSW trading the draft picks it needs for a rebuild? And Butler has to be traded because he will be gone for a year, may return on December, and this year is his contract extension year, and he gets uglier than Green during contract extension year. Trading Green would destroy a cohesive partnership that might cost GSW the playoffs. Mind you, I don't like Green but he IS valuable to the team while Butler, who I like even less, is after his retirement contract and could care less about a chip.
But GSW has to examine Giannis' health including his tendons with a fine tooth comb. Giannis is a Greek, a shrewd Greek
It would be something to see,Giannis go to golden state. at this point the situation speaks for itself. If he wanted it, it would’ve happened already. He, already proved he can win a championship what's out switching teams. the best thing he can do now is play two years for the Warriors and go back and finish his career with the bucks and probably win three more with those three to four first round draft choices that golden state has to offer.
