Man I believed in Jock Landale. Utah should be scary in the next few years though and Memphis is doing a good job stacking up picks for the future.
Those picks better be unprotected if not then it's not a good deal because they could've gotten more since dude is just 26.

GREAT move for Utah. They didn’t give anything thaat valuable. I get three FR is a lot on this current market, but a lineup of George, Bailey, Markknen, JJJ and Kessler seems pretty fun and I actually think it might work in the future. I’m not sure about their picks situation but I gueds they got a plethora of them.
For the grizzlies I’m not sure there was much more they could have ask for JJJ so I’m standing on Win-Win trade

This is cool. Utah also got some nice role player guys, could get a top pick this year, and still have extra assets. And with the Will Hardy offense that AVC really likes I really like this team
This trade makes no sense to me for Utah unless they see themselves in the playoff hunt next year+ or those picks are heavily protected. This feels like an off season type of swing for this team unless they though JJJ was going to be unavailable by then.
Would Memphis do a Ja plus a first (given the armed albatross of a contract he has) for Trae Young's expiring next year?
I don't get it for Utah. Great for Memphis to rebuild, but huh?
My issue is with Markkanen and the Utah roster.
People are saying put JJJ at the 4 and Markkanen at the 3 because he's played that position before. Yes, but that doesn't mean that's Markkanen best position to be at. I think Markkanen plays best as the PF.
I get Utah is tired of tanking and wants to compete. It's just I don't think Utah is ready to compete yet. Today's NBA, you need depth, Utah doesn't have good depth. Their team is pretty much JJJ, Kessler, Lauri, Keyonte, and hopefully Ace. Pretty much their starting lineup.
