I like the trade but Tatum and brown have always needed that one more pure scorer . When they get cold, especially in the playoffs , we need a top scoring option to get us buckets. I never want to give up a microwave. I felt this way about Evan Fournier also, when we could have used him the same way for a couple years. It’s an essential part of a championship team.
Championships are carried by the stars but there’s always that one guy that steps up and goes off a couple times to take the team over the hump.
Claxton is great for rebounding, blocks, defense, but he can be exposed in the playoffs by small lineups where we wouldn’t always be able to keep him on the floor.
I prefer Jarrett Allen honestly
