I'm not sure that the fact he's signing with rich Paul means he's getting traded. That's speculation on your part now is he gonna be 1 of the 1st people gone That's very possible cause you guys are looking and a whole lot of money in the next couple of years and you gotta play that sound you gotta play that second Apron like a fiddle

If they get rid of Dort, it wouldn't be because of Cason primarily. It'd be because they signed Caruso to the same size contract as Dort and can"t keep both of those larger contract. Cason would just be the guy that they'd be looking to, to way outperform his contract to justify Caruso's bloated contract. That would likely, if nit undoubtedly, have further trickle down effects on the players and their belief in the organiztion's culture.

The Thunder won't be choosing between Lu and Cason. Alex Caruso will be the player that gets moved. His contract establishes a baseline for what Lu and Cason's next contract will be to fill the same role.

As fans, we get attached to our favorite players. But where the squad is trying to go, we have to be realistic about what our gaps are and how we fix them. We all love Lu…lots of amazing moments. But his production has gone down on both ends this season and going B2B is the goal. At the very least, the money doesn’t work with those summer contracts. No matter what, we can appreciate what Lu did for the team and wish him well should this be it ⚡️

Lu def gone. The new CBA is cap hell for teams like OKC over $800M on 3 players. Cason over Lu is justified. Also don’t be surprised if Thunder tradeJDubb n resign Wiggins to a good reasonable deal. They could get Wiggins for 5/$100M- $150M ? n they could get multiple 1st rounders for JDubb n a Player. I’m just saying don’t be surprised 🤷🏽♂️
