You completely disregarded the 1st round pick swap from Minnesota to Detroit, that is huge. I’m assuming the protection is lottery that’s the only thing that makes sense in my mind. Currently that would bump us up 6 spots in the draft, and with how the bottom of the playoff picture looks in the West I wouldn’t be surprised if they end up in the play in.

good trade for Utah. Absolutely right on the input of Utah Jazz isnt bringing major prospects in the free market. I appreciated a tweet I saw that they might be trying to load up a tall lineup for next year. Keyonte then full bigs. Play Lauri at the 3 and triple J at the 4. Kessler will come back + maybe you're able to trade for or bring in a better starting center than Nurk (even though hes been playing really well). stack the two and 3 with the best performers next season (Ace or Bryce), see what happens, and load with draft picks. Ainge always been competent and this is the logical next step in the rebuild without entertaining the idea of a second tear-down.
