I think there were such high hopes for JI that a lot of people thought he had a higher market value. He has barely played since we drafted him so people still only see him as a top 5 pick, not a often injured guard who could barely crack the rotation

I'll tell you all a thing or two. Ivey states he's a Christian yet hangs his head. Tried to motivate him with the record setting winning golfer in Byron Nelson's quote… "God Don't Love A Coward"… and it did not hit. All Ivey lovers can eat this.

Well the reality is that Ivey was the #2 guy last year and the hope was that he would return to form. That’s why so many are upset with cutting him loose. I’m guessing the organization doesn’t think he can get back to where he was.

“Ivey only got 7 min the other night, Huerter might not even play.” SO WHAT THE FUCK WAS THE POINT OF THE TRADE THEN. The goal is to get better at the deadline, meanwhile Boston and Cleveland are just wheeling and dealing. Typical Detroit team settling for very good not elite championship status.
