Lauri most likely is getting moved to another team this year or during the offseason I don’t see them wanting him and jjj big ass contracts on the books long term
Jazz should trade 2 bigs lauri,Kessler or jjj, for Austin reeves if they don't get the number 1 pick. Or they might trade jjj and picks for the number 1 pick
JJJ is a notoriously bad rebounder and post player. Adding him alongside Kessler is a great fit since it allows him to play more to his strengths. It presents a formidable front court of Markannen, JJJ and Kessler too. JJJ brings playoff experience while also being on a similar timeline and honestly just brings the Utah rebuild forward a couple years. Memphis gets some project players and vets alongside those picks, their team was good but never good enough and there was no major upgrade at any position they could feasibly get. Especially with the Ja situation, the logical thing to do is blow it up and try again.
I agree with most of your takes, but think you’re pretty low on the Jazz. The 3 picks weren’t even their own picks, the first pick is the best of like 3 teams pick, then a Luka Lakers pick, then a 2031 suns pick. So Jazz gave up Walter Clayton where they had a log jam at that position anyway, then essentially salaries and 3 mid to low first round picks for a DPOY and top forward/center (coveted position) in the league. Also a decent depth piece in Vinny Williams. Lauri and JJJ both aren’t making max money and odds are they get a top 5 pick in this stacked upcoming draft. I think your point to money would’ve been more true under different cap numbers. All contracts are fairly traceable too worst case scenario
Utah are champs at made-up injuries the past few seasons, so it makes sense. They're probably going to end up last in all rebounding metrics as long as Markie and JJJ are on the same line-up though.
I think the Jazz will look good next year with a line up of Kessler, JJJ, Markenen, Collier, and George with a bench of Bailey, Filipowski, draft pick, williams. that should be a low seed playoff team, making the playoffs should be next step for jazz
Just pointing out that part of the reason he isn't having an outstanding season is that he was injured all offseason. His game has actually been coming around nicely lately.

Dude the Grizz arent giving Ja away. We will just keep hom.
New direction for the grizz we landing a top 5 for sure, with all our picks we can trade up as well without giving up our flexibility

Small market teams need to acquire via trade or draft. JJJ is 26 and under contract for 5 years. Worth the price for Jazz and good value for Memphis.
Hate losing trip tho
They are banking on Keynote being the engine that makes all this run, which I think he will be.

In my opinion it's just a talent play. JJJ for this return probably just seemed like too good a deal to pass up on for Danny Ainge.

Unleash, Markannen to play swingman like he does for Finland
Losing JJJ is so crazy. Grizz messed this up badly! It should have been Ja!
Utah – A + .
I don't think this works! Laurie as a 3rd option 3 didn't work in Cleveland! He needs to be a 2nd option 4!
I hope Danny Ainge knows what he's doing.
The Grizzlies have cratered as a franchise and fast!

What's with that thumnail? The Jazz haven't worn that jersey in like 5 years.
They got worse when they lost Dillon Brooks.
Wow starting George Bailey Lauri JJJ and Kessler is a solid move going forward
