Camille looks cold… and pissed 😂
It makes a hell a lot more sense to wait until the off-season see which teams are blowing it up the Cavs, for example, and then bring a player over here to Milwaukee to play with Giannis. There's a free agent class to work with there are trades that can be made we have expiring contracts, we have a fairly low payroll, it just makes no sense for us to be so hyper fixated on trading Giannis. That's not the best strategy. You need a superstar to compete for titles. how do you all propose we get one of those once he honestly leaves? Wait 50 years through the draft? Are you people crazy?
Greek didn’t want to play for the Bucks this year it was the Bucks making a desperate stupid move now the Bucks aren’t going to get anything good and they will be the new Sacramento kings
Yes, Brooklyn has a pathway to contending faster than the Bucks. They have the Ability to trade for a 2nd Star. Unfortunately, we don’t.
If the Bucks wanna compete now. Trade all their younger players for Dallas older players and go for it.
Could the Bucks trade Doc?…..for like a ham sandwich or a PB and J or something?
Do you guys realize once the Bucks cost Greek his money he’s going to dictate where he’s going in the offseason Bucks packages will be worse HES NOT GOING TO THE WEST
I feel like Portland could work.
Dame’s weak defense will get covered up by Jrue & Camara’s defense so they ain’t gonna have atrocious perimeter defense as we did with Dame.
Gianni a hoe though as apparently he wants to stay in the East where it’s easier on paper… 😂
Hey, can we get a "Myles Turner is exactly what Pacers fans told us he was"?
Jimmy Butler, Kuminga and a couple future assets could work?
ok trade Giannis but keep TA ….oh and Glen Rivers.
Your trade expectations are way too high, delusional! GA says to the Bucks I want to be a buck on a competitive team. So I sign if you are competitive. I can’t know that in Oct as we are currently the worse team in baseball without me. When the bucks try to trade him offseason he can say to any team chosen by the bucks that he is not going to resign with them.. bucks leverage is now highest as he would get two playoff runs. By next year trade deadline the bucks will be so desperate to trade that the package will be pretty light
I dont even care anymore.
They need to get those golden state picks! We need to think about the bucks future. We don’t want to give Giannis to a team with late draft picks. Steph will be retiring and Giannis whether we like to admit it or not he always hurt. We need those bottom 10 picks.
Orlando. He would be number 1 no question. The team has a great core. We get Banchero for the future and picks. Giannis, Franz and Bane will get to the East finals at the least becuase that team is young and defends.
The Bucks are making one mistake after another. They should have put Giannis up for auction since the summer. They didn't because their fans couldn't accept the reality and the president doesn't want to take the cost of disappointing Bucks fans. (bad draft picks, bad coaching picks after Bud, bad trades after acquiring Jrue). Giannis' injuries have now lowered his value and made the best buyers hesitant (Spurs, Houston, Oklahoma)
The hawks is the team that can give Giannis all he's looking for
Tough for Gianni’s going anywhere that doesnt gut part of the team
None of the offers is overwhelming and it sounds like the feeling is that the Bucks will wait until summer.
Doesn't mean they couldn't pull off a trade now for players that would fit well on a retooled roster (though it's essential to extend Rollins and KPJ).
The pick will be elite.
Whatever roster hole still exists should easily be filled on the FA or trade market after the draft is through.
Unintended gap year, but the last 4 have been as well.
They made all the moves based on what Giannis wanted they asked him and he had a hand in on it and it didn't work out. It goes to show that the player can't be the coach or the GM, because it never works out When they waved Damon Lillard, it was because of Giannis And what he wanted they got good pieces now they can't win because everything went through Giannis.
I’ve said this before but check the Bucks draft record since 2013. Do you really want to prioritize draft picks
OMG, if it wasn’t for the lovely, irresistible aura of Camille, it’d be really difficult to come here because the DELUSIONS are at an all-time high. If you’re in the Bucks fan base, y’all better PRAY the Blazers do want Giannis because that is the absolute best package you will ever get for Giannis. It’s not even close. Some combo of Jerami Grant, Scoot Henderson, Thybulle, Williams, Love, Yang Hansen, a 2-3 firsts, swaps, including control of your own draft again?! The Bucks aren’t getting a haul better than that. That’s a former All-Star, a Top 3 lottery pick, expiring salary, a big with great upside, and those picks? A 26-year old former DPOY was traded today for a lot less. Jon Horst and Co. would be moronic to turn that down and the fact Justin and Camille aren’t advocating for it is beyond me. A trade like that could actually save this franchise as you add this all to your lottery pick and can move the other vets for new pieces.
And yet they’re still prognosticating over fantasy land… clinging to this fanciful, bewildering notion that keeping Giannis would be better than a trade like that — how sure are they? Not if you want to win eventually. Even if the Bucks won the lottery this year — and they technically cannot and their pick goes to another team — whoever they land in the lottery + whatever spare parts they pick up is only barely contending in the East and getting regularly slaughtered by the West’s upper echelon. Does it matter if you somehow miraculously get out of the East as a 3-seed only to get stomped on by another team from the West that’s loaded.
Meanwhile, Giannis gets older. And slower. And possibly more injury-prone. Without a chance in hell to win. Yet Giannis, with all those drawbacks (age, decline) on Blazers team with
Coumara, Clingan, Avidja, Sharpe, Dame, and Holiday is damn near a juggernaut. A DEFENSIVE NIGHTMARE for the league.
The Clippers, Sac, Golden State, Memphis, are all primed to take a step back starting next season and Portland can slot right into that. So this idea that this a Portland squad w/Giannis cannot compete, even in the West, is just absurd. From a sheer size standpoint, look at how big that Blazers team would be across the board!
If you’re Giannis, even if this is to a smaller market — technically the Bucks East in terms of their heritage and winning droughts — this could be a dream situation. The Blazers could trade all that (helping his former team) and still become one of the best teams in the league. Jon Horst and Co. would be committing roster malfeasance — even more than they already have — if they didn’t pursue something like that.
Because let me remind all of you Bucks faithful clinging to the same delusions as Justin and Camille — the reason you’re even in this situation is because of Giannis! He’s the one who stirred the pot to boil. You never heard about Dirk, Duncan, Steph, or Luka threatening to leave behind the scenes, resurrecting the annual trade rumor narrative, sowing the chaos. Y’all love to blame the Nat Media when you damn well know it’s Giannis and Alex stoking things behind the scenes.
And it’s very clear this roster isn’t good enough and there’s literally nothing they can do to make it as good as that hypothetical Portland squad if you gave Horst and Co. years to do it. They’re not adding a Sharpe, Clingan, Coumara, and Avidja to this roster anytime soon. If Giannis stays in Cream City, the Bucks will be wallowing in mediocrity for the rest of his career — and so will he. I hate to say that, but that’s just the reality of the situation with the roster as bereft of talent as it is.
And maybe you’re all good with it because Giannis demanded moves get made that led to this type of roster construction, yet Horst still didn’t do nearly enough to keep a fickle star happy.
Fire Doc he can't coach this team it's obvious.
When Giannis played for Greece last summer (instead of resting and recovering), I knew he'd be injured most of the season. I noticed he didn't miss any of their games.
