Giannis isn't worth breaking the whole team up, especially if we don't solve this PG issue. Giannis might be worth more than Jaden… but he costs twice as much too. Personally I'd rather have Jaden, and a $20million PG, than Giannis. Giannis would be incredible, don't get me wrong, but Gobert, Randle, McDaniels, and even Naz, are all playing border-line all-star caliber basketball, and they're doing it, on somewhat modest contracts. Who are you going to bring in, that's actually going to give you more bang for your buck? I don't think it's automatic with Giannis. It opens up more gaps in the rest of the team.

Jaden should be untouchable. The wolves haven’t even tried to optimize Jaden. Slide him to the four,let him roam on D and have Clark be the guy who checks the other teams best player.

What do the Bulls want with Sexton? Bulls are about to trade Sexton to Wolves for Gobert. Probably get Ayo or Trae Jones and maybe Patrick Williams and a couple picks to send to Bucks. Randle probably going to Memphis. Conley or Middleton will come to Wolves after being bought out. We traded Conley to Bulls so they would trade White and Conley for Sexton so we could make more trades and resign Conley. All pre arranged already watching the dominoes fall in order. Giannis, Turner, Kuzma, Sexton, Ayo or Jones coming to Wolves. Accumulate picks from Bulls and Grizzlies and send a package to Bucks. Kings could send Sabonis somewhere. Ja could go to Miami and a pick or 2 to Wolves for Randle and a young player or 2.
Gobert trade was not some overwhelming win for Wolvves. They traded Kessler and George as part of the deal. Kessler is 85% or more of Gobert for LESS than 10%the cost over the last 4 years. Compare their per 36s and tell me Gobert is 10X Kessler over the same time period. They had to make the Conley trade because the Gobert trade was going so bad and they were in danger of MISSING the playoffs after aquiring him. Some floor raiser they literally got 3 games worse when Kessler would have been a better addition to that team better hands, better shooting range, more blocks, no enormous ego to deal with on both ends of the court. Wolves were set to have a MAX salary spot UNDER the cap to sign ANY FA at the end of Connelly's 1st season had he not traded for Gobert. KD(Twice) and Kyrie(for 1 1st) became availible since we aquired Gobert. They took George with the 1st pick from us. Kessler and George on rookie deals plus $30 mill or more in savings on average per season there is zero comparison. Would I rather have had Kessler and George then, now and moving forward than Gobert and Conley ABSOLUTELY. Wolves had KAT, and then Ant, Jaden, Naz and Kessler ALL making next to NOTHING ALL 4 TOGETHER made LESS than Gobert did during his 1st 2 seasons here and add $25M for Conley? Wolves would have won 50 games that season had they not traded for Gobert and would have avoided Denver in the 1st round and moved on to at least 2nd or CF that season BEFORE having a max salary spot to add any free agent AND use their pick on drafting someone. What does Gobert give you thats worth 10X Kessler is in salary plus the additional assets.
People that cover this Wolves team has VERY selective memory in what they want to remember and what they choose to forget about the Rudy Gobert scenario. They didnt have to sign Dlo they could have let him walked and signed ANY MAX level free agent at the end of that season. Kessler would have fit with Wolves BETTER than Gobert who took the #1 offense to BOTTOM 5 fpr the season. Kessler would have made the defense top 5 without tanking the offense completely and requiring you to bring in other aging highly paid players to blow your cap room on. For what it was worth even after aquiring Gobert Ant and Dlo CARRIED the Wolves for a couple months while KAT was out and Gobert was AWFUL. If they kept NAW and didn't let Conley steal money the last 2 seasons it would have been slightly better.
If you keep Edwards, McDaniels, and Randle and find a way to get Giannis fine. Otherwise, hell no!
