The idea that pivoting from Giannis and getting Ja isn't in Miami's character feels like short-term memory loss. Miami did exactly this with Terry Rozier when they struck out on Lillard. Maybe they learned their lesson, but to suggest it's not like Miami to do something like that is simply inaccurate.
Milwaukee won't admit it, but kas, jjj and ware are sick players to have if you're in rebuild mode. plus they get to fire doc rivers sooner.

To say trading for Ja is more of a risk than Giannis is ridiculous. You’re getting Ja for literally nothing and he only has 2 years left on his contract. With Giannis, we are giving up all of our young players and picks for a guy who is 31 with 2 calf injuries in a single season. Also he may not resign with the heat. I would say that’s more than a bigger risk
