JJJ has significantly more value then Domas. Hes an all defensive player of the year and has made several all defensive teams.
He both shoots and makes 3s. Does Domas even have ONE this year?
Domas 3 years ago? Maybe JJJ isnt THAT much better though thats subjective
Domas has destroyed his trade value by consistently shrinking in post season.
He was played off the court as a rookie with OKC. He was outplayed by Kevon Looney in the Golden state series
He was terrible with the Pacers against Boston with Indiana. He was very good off the bench against Cleveland.
He was abysmal against Dallas last sesson and to say He shrank would be the understatement.
He never takes over Games in 4th quarters. Hes not a closer by any stretch.
Hes not a leader and im not even convinced his teammates like Him and he makes 48 million a season..
This isnt 3rd team all Nba Sabonis 3 seasons ago. Players dont remain at that level every season of their career.
RJ Barret is a damn good player. Abaji plays defense and was a lottery pick.
Grady D looks like A school boy and soft but He can absolutely ball. He can shoot the three and get downhill . And hes 6'7.
Don't see any last minute trades coming.
Trying to fleece rappers. Not gonna happen.
We are in a very bad shape nothing will happen Perry gets no grace because it was a deal on the table and they did not we’re frustrated everyone else is making moves and we’re not at all…
Is Vivek the worst owner in all of sports?
This franchise is at its lowest point since coming to Sacramento. I was 13 when this team got here and I don’t remember a point in time when we had a team so bad and worse, so boring!
If their contract was 20 million a year it's easier to move them but at 40 or 50 million it's harder to trade
What if there’s just nothing out there that will be good for the team long term. They already are garbage this year, so keep the team together . Get a good pick, and I bet lavine will be easier to trade in the offseason. I think they need to keep domas. Veteran leadership, best rebounder in the league, sets the best screens, and is tough as nails. He is a good veteran to have in the locker room, a leader as they get younger. 18 and 10 are great numbers he can put up. He isn’t a rim defender, but slot of guys aren’t. Of that’s something the organization wants more of, then draft Zach eddy instead of Devin Carter when you already had 10 point guards. Hopefully not making a deal is the best option for the future, because all the moves made so far have been dumb. You trade your big offseason signing half way through the season after he lost his starting gig, bad signing. Trade a top tier big man off the bench for the absolute worst player in the nba. Trade fox for a potential buyout? Trade Halliburton for rj barret? Trying to trade their only dawg in Malik monk. It’s ridiculous, hopefully decisions start making more sense from now on.
I think unfortunately because of our bad contracts and Vivek's track record of involvement in trades, many GMs are probably waiting and hoping Perry will sweeten the pot just before the deadline. Its crazy to think we might go in to the luxury tax while placed 2nd to last in the league lol
James thinks the Kings are being reasonable in what they are asking for in a trade for Sabonis. The other 29 teams so far have said no. So, who is wrong?
Deadline is tomorrow guys
When will people realize that the Kings owner is incentivized to have this team trash.
Tank ❤
This was a dope conversation, buh shiii I’ll even take the Poetle contract and a unprotected 1st round pick for THIS YEARS DRAFT!!! We don’t even need RJ 🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️
I, along with most, do not understand what the kings are doing….I mean, you either lose with the over 30 vets you have now or you trade them, get "some" draft capital in return, and lose with the young players who have not had a sustained run in last 3 years….I would choose the latter.
Every sports paper said hit the reset button after the play-in tournament blowout against the Mavericks last season. Then I'm like ok the GM is going to blow it up.. and why Scott P. didn't try to move Sabonis last off season/summer when there was a lot of trade hype then? And why didn't we keep Big Val.. so what if he walks? Never understood Schroder (age 32), Saric (age 31)and Westbrook (age 37).. Now we are as old as the LA Clippers. Like WTF….
