I think they may have made this move regardless of the Tax situation. That is a pretty good haul, only possible because of McCain shooting better recently. McCain was high maintenance (too sensitive).

Trading away a young/2nd year guard with top of the league three-point potential on a rookie deal to land late pics is definitely a choice. We thought dumping Drummond to get under the tax was bad, this is just plain stupid.
