  1. @benrogers the only move raptors are gonna do is waive and buy out chris paul because getting under the tax is bobby websters number 1 responsibility to keep his job.

then if a center comes on waiver wire, the raptors may pick up a center on the waiver wire, and then give lawson a standard contract for rest of season.

if no center is available on waiver wire, its mo bamba. he is better than yves missi by a long shot and can bang while missi cant.

if not then i see lawson and alijah martin being signed to standard contracts to fill the last 2 spots for the playoff bounce. either pistons, celtics, knicks or upgraded healthy cavs with harden will sweep the raptors in the first round regardless of if raptors get a center or not. there is no 1 player that will prevent this sweep. not even giannis could get this raptors team out of the 1st round.

its better to draft a center in the draft. at 21 patrick ngbongo a center is already better than yves missi currently.

  2. what you fail to realize is no one wants jakob poeltl contract or IQ without giving them 3 unprotected picks to eat each of their contracts. and ochai agbaji trade took away important filler. as now with RJ trade you will have to add 3-4 cheap bench players to match the contract of a better player. so pick your poison on the filler of CMB, Mamu, Gradey, Walter, Shead, Battle and Mogbo. the bigger the contract, the more young guys you are attaching and likely with 1-2 first round picks.

  3. HAVE THIS RAPTOR'S MANAGEMENT NOT LEARNED ANYTHING IN THE LAST 3 YEARS , A 6'9" CENTRE DOES NOT F*CKING WORK !! WE NEED A 7 FOOTER !!

  4. Dont trade anyone. Keep the roster as is. We can sign an interim center on the open market. We already landed a great player like Mamu that way, so we can do it again. Then we target a solid long term center in the draft. We dont have a good track record of trading first round picks to chase a supposed upgrade or fix a somewhat bad situation. It usually comes back to hurt us, with the Jakob Poeltl saga being the prime example.

  5. Just trade Dick and a future 2nd round pick for Dayron Sharpe. Then at the draft trade two unprotected first picks and Poetle and Quickley for PG and Center playets.

  6. Are they still doing the 6’9 thing again?! We need a damn 7 footer, when will they learn man! Another choke job tonight, this team is not playoff ready.

  7. I try not to just say this all the time but we picked up another 6”9 guy. We could’ve had Kyle Filipowski and we mobo the pick directly before😐🤦🏾‍♂️

  8. Trayce Jackson-Davis love it he has never been utilized in Kerrs system. Only move I would love to hear is the Raptors signed Bol Bol to league minimum next two years.

  9. I’m sorry but Bobbi needs to be fired. If he do any do somthing crazy today he has to go next year. He paid a first for ochai then gave a second to get rid of him. He extended Quickly to an absurd contract. Then extended Ingrim for way more than he was worth, leaving Rich Paul to openly mock him (Bobbi) and then after ALL of that, he thought it wise to extend Jakob to a multiple year deal paying him almost 30 fuc&in million dollars. Now it’s gonna cost us 2 firsts to get off of him. 😂 and the funniest part is he’s supposed to be a “cap wizard”. What a friggin joke.
And also Jakob needs to be investigated. It’s very suspicious that he magically had these back issues right after getting paid.

  10. Honestly at this point… I am ready to maybe move on to an entirely new front office. I am tired of this 6'9 crap. If we are in an east with Embiid, Towns, etc…. we need a proper big man. I by no means think we should make stupid trades but come on. They couldn't find a bench centre that is taller than 6'9? We couldn't have found some players to help our shooting either? Maybe I dont know shit but wouldnt Jaren Jackson Jr have been an ideal player for our team? Shot blocking 3 shooter……
