San antonio is not one of the teams who made sense not to make a trade they cant shoot, and OKC, the favorite to win it all, made a trade getting grimes from New york. San Antonio is weak as hell at power forward, too.
Definitely not worried about the Lakers bro. Even though we stood pat at the deadline we're still solid. There's always the buy out market, with that being said I wonder if Dallas will buyout Marvin Baglley he's a solid defender and a rebound chaser. IMO that's really all we need. It's only a handful of teams that has outstanding shooting and the majority of them are not playoff bound.
Unless it's a top 5 picks B. Wright is absolutely useless on draft picks. N unless a player wants to come here ala Swipa Fox or third team is needed for huge deal he sucks on trades. Other then Hawks fleece he not done shit. So 2022 draft with 3 picks is officially a wasted draft.
I guess we think we can win at sub 30 percent 3 pt shooting. We are cooked. We will get smoked when opponent knocking down 3s. Season is cooked as far as winning championship
Miss only one fantastic and consistent three point shooter and physical defender to hope title…. In play-off, physicality will kill the play making of the Spurs with inconsistency and bad three point shooting to create space for Wemby, Castle, Fox and Harper 😢. With Sochan, Ollinik and some second round picks we could have one. No hope in play-off this year except with lot of injuries in OKC, Minnesota, Suns and Denver's roaster. So, see you next year for some hope to win title, if Wemby is healthy for playoffs …chance to gain a title is not every year, and it will finally not be this year…
It seems to me that the Spurs didn't finally manage to make a deal for Sochan. I feel sad for him who has always been a good guy, accepting to play in different unnatural roles (PG, backup C,…) where he of course struggled. They asked him to be present in every game since the 23rd of january wearing regular clothes and not playing any minutes, waiting for a trade which will never come. This season is very important for him because he needs to be extended to continue his NBA journey. Staying in the Spurs' roster will perhaps end his NBA dream. Playing for another team for three months would have at least given him a chance to show that he deserves this extension. Tonight I feel really sad for him…
