  1. They didn’t do nothing but gave away a good player that needed more time to get back to where he was before the injury sixers =😢

  2. This is all about saving money for Josh Harris while he spends money on the Washington Commanders and screws the 76ers fans and the team

  3. I was questioning the trade at first and then they got 4 pics for one players who is going to see less time due to the emergence of VJ. Soo not a bad trade.

  4. The Sixers ownership is a joke!!! Trade away a young, talented player for late draft picks just to avoid the luxury tax. Josh Harris, please sell the team.

  5. You guys don't understand the CBA and as a result are saying wrong things.
This was about finishing the season under the 1st Apron.
The Tax check is only going to be around 6.5 M.

By being under the 1st Apron they can now lock up Barlow to a long term contract via the NT-MLE.
I've been trying to explain that to you guys all along.

Drummond was spared because there is no one out there who could have replaced him.
    He looked great vs GSW.

And YES, I see the Sixers getting someone off of the buyout market (maybe Lonzo). Lonzo > McCain for what the Sixers need to do in the playoffs.

Lowry can also be waived if necessary to become a full time coach and sign someone else off the buyoff market.

  6. That is BS about McCain. He looked fully recovered from when he came back, other than the distraction of the knee brace.
I had called for McCain waiting a few more weeks before returning from his UCL surgery, but he was shooting fine in practice.

Grimes is going to be better without McCain on the roster. Grimes was too unselfish passing the ball, trying to make his teammates happy.

  7. What does Cam Thomas have to do with anything? He'd veto any trade.

NO, NO, NO. Would not have been close to getting under the Tax just by giving away only Gordon.
Have to save space (0.916 M) for Walker and an estimate of 1.3 – 3 M prorated to promote Barlow using the 4 yr NT-MLE. The exact amount will depend on how much his agent will demand for a long term contract and when he is signed (cheaper if wait until after his 10 days expire.

There is so much misinformation on all these Sixers Channels. Have to fully understand the CBA first.

Note, I was the #1 fan calling for fans to hold up signs in front of Josh Harris saying NOT TO DUCK THE TAX.
But I'm fine with outcome for multiple reasons including it means signing Barlow long term and I believe it will help Grimes and Oubre to return next season.
Also, I expect Morey to get a better player for the Sixers to replace McCain, as lest for now – that includes Lonzo Ball who will be available.

  8. I believe in a few days we will learn that CASH was also given Memphis to take Gordon. Can offer more than 7 M, although no way Morey/Harris would offer more than 2 M.

  9. Its also good news because we kept Drummond, who I'm not convinced is a monster. Maybe Drummond will take minimum next season.

  10. It was always probably that Bucks weren't going to trade Giannis.
Giannis and Embiid would not have worked.
Giannis could have an Achilles rupture if he comes back this season.

  11. Oh good! They got rid of a potential ROY for basically 4 2nd round picks that wont amount to nothing but cost savings for their billionaire owner. Woohoo! Yeah! Lmao same ole sixers.
