I think Gm Perry did the right thing.
He shopped around and the best value he could get was moving off Schroeder's contract and minutes for DeAndre Hunter.
To get that done it cost him Ellis and a future second.
I think it now depends on how well Hunter plays as a King.
I think holding on to Sabonis, DeRozan, and Lavine(sure to opt in) was the right call.
There will only be one happy organization after the NBA Finals.
Everyone else will be in scramble/desperation mode to get closer to the champion.
The Kings will have a little bit better leverage.
They still have Malik Monk who they can offer to sweeten packages.
The Kings can offer scoring punch(Lavine, DeRozan, and Monk) and they can offer elite rebounding(Sabonis)
Those will be very valuable skill sets to offer teams.
This season i don't believe The Kings played even one minute with the projected starting lineup of: Sabonis, Murray, DeRozan, Lavine, and either Westbrook or Schroeder….
I'm not saying that would have made a huge difference but i think the team should want to see: Sabonis, Murray, Hunter, and Lavine together before this season ends.
I would say at least 10 consecutive games before turning it over to the kiddie corps.
They need to see if they can be a better defensive team with Hunter and Murray on the wings.
Also Gm Perry needs to force Coach Christie to add a more modern offensive coach to his lead assistant ranks.

Deadline sucked but what did we expect lol fans been patient for 40 years just gonna have to continue to be all we can do
There are three immediate moves to make. Fire Christie and hire Mo to coach the Kings. Buy out DeRozan and send Westbrook packing and finish the season playing .500 basketball. I played and coached collegiate basketball and I promise you Moe e could coach this team better than Christie and she is way way more beautiful.
In this comeing draft witch colage players out of the top 5 witch collage player would help the kings the most if they get the first pick in the draft tell me you to would pick? Please answer my Question I really want your opinion we as fans would fell much better as fans. ❤
What's next? The only things that are ever next for Kings fans. Sadness and depression.

Different managers, Same Owner… 😞 I know it's taboo to mention Vivek at all anymore, but MAN there is ABSOLUTELY a theme here since he "saved" the Kings. Is there ANY POSSIBLE Way that fans can protest or have a rally, etc. to try and get him to sell? Has it EVER EVER MAYBE been done before, with ANY pro sports team, that you guys know of?
