  1. Not too many qualms with what he said, but when you're trying to maximize assets and properly evaluate who's your core, don't you want to put them in the best position possible to see how they do? Example… if you want to see how much Scottie and BI can handle offensively, don't you want shooters around them? If you want to see CMB and Scottie function together to see how tenable they are long term, don't you want them in their proper positions and not playing fucking center? Like be real, Bobby. Sure, you can change that in the long term, but there's no downside to doing that shit now, other than the effort and creativity required to accomplish that. Doesn't mean you need to shoot for a star. Nobody was asking for that anyways.

  2. I don't care if you can handle what I'm about to say, but Bobby FD up this trade deadline was his time to at least provide us with a proper center or get better shooters around our core. However, he did nothing. The East got better and we didn't he is no better than Masai and I truly hope we move on from him

  3. It's not surprising we couldn't work out a deal. Notice how the Kings tried to shop Zach Lavine, DeMar DeRozan, Domantas Sabonis and not one of them were they able to move. Their FO appears to be delusional about what their players are worth and what they can realistically get back in return. Next year Domas will be making $46M and the year after that $49M as a 31 yo. It wouldn't surprise me if in the near future the Kings are the ones attaching picks to move off Sabonis 😂

  4. At :48 he literally says there were bigger deals. I really wish I knew because I hate that we didn’t do anything in typical raptors fashion. We always wait a year or 2 late to trade someone and someone walks for free and we look back and say wtf…..

  5. This guy couldn't trade for a legit backup center with size so he gave us another PF that can't shoot, thus doubling down on the Mogbo archetype.

At least he saved Ed "MAGA" Rogers III a salary cap tax penalty so the MLSE boss will pocket 14 million from the NBA tax dispersion after the season.

  6. It's disappointing because the problems this team still has are obvious, and won't be fixed by patient internal growth. Sucks to be a top 6 team and have your management say "Nah, maybe next year something will come up".
