I'm gonna start listening to all the No Limit / MAster P catalog cauz " YOU CAN'T STOP THE TANK!!!!" Let's GO!! Zubac is legit 7'1 and Tony said it, Great Screener (I wonder who's really really good at shooting off P n R??? HMMMMMM) either switch or blitz will get eaten alive all day. We will run multiple sets of mic slashes and double teams are gonna disapear. Sure Myles hit a ton of 3's, but he didn't rebound and we were always killed in the paint, BECAUSE HE'S SOFT. Zubac will not back down and he LIT US UP last season if you all recall. LET'S GO!! PLEASE LORD, DELIVER US A TOP 4!

Guys like Vucevic and Sengun been Killin us all year, now we have our big guy 👊🏼💪🏼 I'm calling this a championship caliber starting 5 🏆. I had high hopes for Isaiah Jackson and I still believe his best is yet to show but Zubac brings that height and muscle we're lacking in the middle and he's a guy who can grab 20 rebounds by himself. I'll miss Mathurin and his scoring bursts but I think Zubac makes this a better, more complete, team.
An expensive & risky trade, but if Zubac can help the Pacers get back to the finals, then it's worth it. Yes, when looking at the current roster, another trade or waive is probably coming. This team still has a lot of guards & not much room for their draft pick. Assuming they don't lose it.
Hate to Lose Ben and some picks, BUT WE JUST GOT WAAAAY BETTER. We NOW have TWO Centers, one of which is Myles 2.0 in Huff off the bench. He does EVERYTHING Myles did And MORE. Zubac gives us The INSIDE Presence we've Lacked For YEARS. AND BOTH IN THE PICK AND ROLL?…❤️. The Picks?…Our Team is YOUNG. We won't Really Miss it PLUS The Pacers Draft Smart. Jarace and Johnny have been IMPROVING LIKE HELL! Let's put these Legos together! I'm excited.

Hoping for a top 4 pick as well, would be crazy roster
Picks 5-9 hold literally NO VALUE to the Pacers absent this trade. If they resigned Benn, Furphy and Shep would be out of the rotation BEFORE they bring in their pick.
So then, the 7th pick, say, would be competing with Walker to even be in the rotation. None of the picks in that range are of types of players the Pacers need.
Pacers fans are focused on the 2026 pick when IT COST US NOTHING!!
I think its absolutely crazy to suggest this is "good value" for Zubac. He basically said its good value because our owner is a liar and a cheapskate and didnt go into the tax to keep the team together like he said he would. And this trade was made to cover up the gigantic hole left at center by the departure of Turner. Herb Simons unwillingness to spend on a very successful team has really screwed our chances.
True, he brings a lot of things this team has been lacking.
But if the Pacers lose a high lottery pick along with Ben plus 3 other assets to get a borderline top 10 center, you are insane to think thats good value. The other pick in 2031 is unprotected as well. That could be another lottery pick. They could wind up givung up 2 lottery picks and an all star for a solid center. Thats not good value at all.
The Grizz got less for JJJ who is way more accomplished and a much better player.
The only way this is a good trade is if the Pacers win a chip in the next 2 years. And I just dont think they have enough to do that unless they get lucky and land that top 4 pick next draft AND NAIL IT.
But what do you expect? Tony is never critical of anything they do without following it up with excuses.
This trade was essentially Turner, Jackson, Mathurin, 2 first rounders and a 2nd rounder (both 1sts could be very high picks) for Zubac and Brown plus a bunch of cash for an already rich person.

They shouldve never put this year first round pick on the line. They crazy as hell for that😂
Sign Ben Simmons after allstar break he did a pretty good job defensively backing up Zubac in the playoffs (I want to lose more games and play Pascal and Nembhard less minutes)

Loss of Myles Turner continues to get more expensive tho…we've had to metaphorically donate a kidney and, potentially, half a lung (depending on how the draft shakes out) on the black market to make up for his loss…hope the yahoos who booed Myles while he was here, and (disgracefully) when he returned for his tribute video, are happy.
