Do you think the Spurs will pursue anyone in the buyout market? If so who do you think they'll buy out or waive to make room? Get well soon DJG! Thanks for watching and GO SPURS GO!

buyout-market
Let's get a coach that uses ball movement and all his players
2nd round exit , wolves and denver will play bully ball , if we go to finals knock will do the same , and i dont know why mitch is keeping his bench so expensive , play them olynk and sochan
Spurs can Definitely use cam thomas but we won’t get Him 🤷‍♀️
It's ok for now but I wished they let him play
I think Sochan has been on the trading block for a couple months. Now that he's guaranteed to NOT be traded i think we'll see more minutes from him
Id rather K Love over Biyombo
What's up with Fox man? He's out their shooting air balls, taking poor choice lazy attempt mid rangers getting blocked. His game has regressed immensely since his surgery. I get the feeling he's not feeling the vibes in SA.
Busines as usual, DNP Sochan
The team is still slightly ahead of schedule. 50 wins this season would be fantastic.
I’m sorry but I would buy out Sochan to make room for Thomas in a heartbeat. As much as Thomas may be a “traffic cone” on the defensive side of the ball, Sochan is an even worse “traffic cone” on the offensive side. I think it’s stupid the Spurs not to move him at the trade deadline. He’s only played 2 games for the Spurs this season and we’re second in the west. Meaning we don’t need him. Not to mention, Carter Bryant has effectively taken Sochan’s minutes in the lineup and he’s making the most of them as well. Bryant does everything Sochan can do and more. I can’t be mad at the extra depth, but I would tamper your expectations if you think Sochan is going to get meaningful minutes again this season. All in all, I can confidently say that Sochan has played his last season in San Antonio.
MAXI KLEBER (stretch-4 with blocks): Dude never plays and Lakers are over the cap. He makes like 11million, can seriously shoot the 3pt, and is an excellent rim protector for a PF.
Only Kevin Love could be god pickup, big that can shoot and rebound, 10-15 minutes from the bench
We need Cam Thomas ✊🏀🖤
Malakai Branham is ANOTHER reminder of the GM Brian Wrong's disaster that was the 2022 NBA draft.
I don’t get the love for Sochan. He’s terrible on offense, offering negative spacing. He’s not a 1st or 2nd option for a defensive stopper. Other than his “attitude” what’s the deal with him?
Bro no trade is better than a terrible one… im not mad tbh i like our roster we just have to use our guys right 👌🏿
100% agree spurs will make moves in the offseason and with the draft pick they have for 2026!
Barnes best games this new year has come off the bench… ye hopefully mitch keeps him their its much more efficient
Rich, you know damn well the Spurs roster is not the problem. And The only reason to bring Chris Paul back is to make him a player-coach. THAT would be an improvement over BJ, who has cost the Spurs at least SIX WINS (so far) this season. Come May, I will be laughing at all those who believe this team with this "coach" is going to get past the first round.
> Cam Thomas = Malaki Branham with the brightest greenlight with the Nets… No D, no passing skill, no IQ not efficient, just NO.
> Haywood Highsmith would be great! Yeah he's 6'5" but a crazy near 7' wingspan, he play SF/PF for that reason. and FYI he's taller than KJ with way bigger wingspan, and with him you'll get a positive impact on defense. The definition of a 3nd… Like Julian.
I just don’t understand how we can’t find a way to use Sochan or get any trade value for him.
If Cam Thomas is a Patty Mills type, and if he is more consistent than the inconsistent 3P shooting AND injury-prone Devin Vassell, then cut Bimbo B or McLaughlin to make room for Cam.
Every player needs time to develop. As a manager, I struggled with meeting the expectations of the organization while giving time to new team members to get the experience. Everybody wants high performers minute one, but at some point the older guys move on and you need those new guys to be ready. I was constantly fighting for the space to let new talent grow. It's hard. At this point I'd rather Carter Bryant and Dylan Harper get their time on the floor. And I wish that Sochan would put in the overtime and work with coaches to improve his skillset.
1st unit: Wemby-Sochan-Bryant-Harper-Fox
2nd unit: Kornet-Castle-Keldon-Champagnie-Barnes-Thomas.
Should have got rid of sochan in the offseason. What a wasted roster spot.
I’d say the only thing we are really missing is a sharp shooter and maybe for vessel and fox to be solid 3 point threats
Yes Start Giving Him Play Time, like I’ve always been saying He is our Modern day Rodman, without the controversy. He Brings the Nasty that we need! Rodman 2.0 Go Spurs Go!! And also thank you for you Content Breakdown
The whole Sochan situation is just weird. It looked like Pop thought he was an essential part of the team, and suddenly, he doesn't even sit on the bench, and they can't even trade him. It feels like something personal happened that we don't know about.
I am still a Spur! I love Sochan! Leave him alone. He is still young and can work on him. Sochan has worth! Leave all those old ailing player where they are. Nuff respect
Now we wait……
On a human level, Sochan could have some feelings about Spurs interest in trading him. I’ve been watching his body language these last few games. This whole thing could be a complete shock to him. I didn’t see him with the team in Dallas. Maybe he was there and I missed it. Sochan, focus on defense, rebounds, physical play, layups and put-backs. Eff the 3s. Also, Wemby thinks he’s Kobe.
I have some problems to trust the Spurs' management in term of roster management these days.
Last season, the Spurs had some problems of backup C because they didn't anticipate possible injuries. This season, it seems that this is the case again. Last night, the Spurs were obliged to play smallball the minutes without Wemby (and facing Marshall, Flagg and Gafford, this wasn't the best idea !!!).
The two-way contracts should be used to add some players to compensate multiple injuries (as it is done in the other franchises). Is there a backup C in our two-way contracts ??
And a roster's spot is given to Bismack who is not able to do more than cardio in NBA…
Is Brian Wright able to learn from his mistakes ?
PS : I am sad for Sochan who won't be able to show his value in another franchise. Difficult to extend a player when this player is just not playing at all.
I might do Kevin Love as a third string C… maybe
Happy we kept Sochan we need to play him more. Also cam is a HUGE ball hog and shoots stupid shots. Small guard too gets bullied and can’t play D. Doesn’t play team ball at all. He’s also looking to get paid high.
I wish we could have traded for Jock Landale man
Soclanggggg!!
Problem IS …we need a Sochan type player in a trade for Sochan. We need everything Sochan does for us size and position included but with a better shot I guess. I’m one of the few that doesn’t get why he doesn’t work when he’s a dog that doesn’t need to score much and does the dirty work while protecting Wemby and loves it here besides this year I’m sure idk 🤷‍♂️
Our offensive gets stagnant at times, we need another scoring threat off the bench to help! Sign Cam Thomas for the rest of the year!
