  1. Pistons didnt play great consistently enough (especially the 1st quarter), and wizards were hitting some pretty crazy shots.

  2. Can’t wait to see this list 2 weeks after all star break, the east race is going to be crazy, may see Celtics leap frog the Knicks in power rankings

  3. Okay… That Wizards game that supposedly happened.
There was like a 5 minute span from like 7 minutes left in the 4th to 2 minutes left where the Wizards G-League affiliate that were playing the Pistons went on a run of hitting exclusively HORSE shots all while being completely incapable of missing a shot no matter how bad the shot was or what defense was there. In that span, if the Wizards got a shot up, it was going in.
Games like that just need to thrown in the trash and move on. Congrats on the Wizards players for having a 5 minute span that they will probably tell their grandkids about and those kids will roll their eyes cause it was that unbelievable.
That was only slightly hyperbolic. Watch the highlights and look at the bullshit they were throwing up AND MAKING in that span.

  4. I want to talk crap about the Suns but they own the Spurs right now. So until we show we can handle their defense and perimeter shooting, nine makes sense.

  5. That Pistons loss to the Wizards was crazy. I feel like if they played that game again, the Pistons would beat them 99 times out of 100, but for whatever reason, every single thing went the Wizards way. They probably shot the best they have in a decade from behind the 3 pt line & kept getting weird bounces off of misses that somehow ended up in their players hands despite being surrounded by 3 Pistons. Even in the loss, the Pistons showed they were dangerous, considering that at one point, they cut a 22 point deficit to a 1 point deficit in less than 7 minutes of game time in the 2nd quarter & then in the 4th, they cut a 16 point deficit to 3 or 4 points, only to have a series of improbable shots by the Wizards push the game back out of reach, including an ugly off-balance chuck-up in an attempt to beat the shot clock from like 28 feet & a stumbling, bumbling drive that finished with a Kobe-esque reverse lay-up that some no-name kid on the Wizard made that he probably couldn't repeat if he spent the rest of his life trying. Duren missed most of the game after coming out early with a sore knee too, which changed things drastically & allowed the Wizards to get into the paint far more & get quite a few more offensive rebounds than they otherwise would have been able to if he was playing. It was an unbelievable game by the Wizards though & sometimes you just have to tip your cap & say that today was their day.
