What do you grade the Luke Kennard trade?
B, u still missing 3nD
C+ because we got off Gabe & we got a legit shooter. Now JJ needs to utilize catch & shoot plays for luke.
I agree they wasted the 2nd round pick
Luke makes less than 2 threes a game. Not worth it when he gives up just as much points.
It's yet another player that plays one side of the ball and does one thing. That said, Gabe wasn't giving us anything so in that respect it's an upgrade. It's clear we're trying to figure out the offseason when we have more picks but I don't like it

If I’m JJ I’m cutting smart minutes get more shooters on the floor defense is overrated the objective is to out score you’re opponent
Too many games the lakers bench have under 10 points total

2nd rounder used to be sold between 5 to 7 millions so I don't get what's the problem… When / if they'll need it, they will simply buy it. Maybe good shooting at practices becomes a thing in games… who knows.
I just don't like Jovan. He makes this unwatchable for me
B+ grade b/c like these dudes said "give JJ Reddick a different hand to play" Everyone is forgetting that James, Luka, an AR-15 are leathal. The big Ayton has got to get going in playoffs. And then 1 series it's a Vando series, the next a Kennard series. Rui is another adjustment and easy 15pts off bench. Smart only needs 22 to 25 mins a game and again, the Lakers might go 2 Bigs vs Denver but then play small-ball vs Houston
