IMO, this just does not move the needle, Harden is a better defender and better at getting to the rim/FT line(still somehow). But Garland is much better off-ball, both have issues guarding the POA, and both aren't great fits with Mitchell
I haven’t watched the full ep yet so I haven’t heard his side but what I just heard from Marz is just wrong. 1 being coherent matters in basketball, most times a big trade goes down for your team most of the time it takes a while to fully fit together 2. DG is literally 26 and has only played in 23 playoff games, there have been players in nba history to play more playoff games in one run then DG has his whole career and he played a good number of those injured. Calling him worse then harden in the playoffs is true so far but that’s with other circumstances and isn’t necessarily true this year. 3. I know marz didn’t make this point but if you were to say that DG is injury prone I don’t think that’s relevant. If chill had them winning the championship I assume he thought the whole team would be healthy.
I don’t agree with chill I think this teams champ odds go up with this move but to say better player better odds isn’t always true historically
