Warriors front office CLEARLY won’t get Steph Curry help | NBA Trade Deadline Reaction

Jason reacts to the NBA trade deadline and uses the Golden State Warriors trading Jonathan Kuminga to the Atlanta Hawks for Kristaps Porzingis as a signal that the front office simply does not want to give Steph Curry more help if it sacrifices anything in the future.

  1. The Warriors don't need a superstar play to compete for a Championship the need serviceable star player that plays their role well

  2. Warriors fan here, there is not a "move" to be made. It is over. Find a trade for Steph and get some picks. I know it is unimaginable but there is nothing left. There might be some teams, like OKC or Houston might be willing to trade for Steph. But this error has been done for some time now, it really over now.

  3. At this point, with Jimmy hurt, I think it makes sense not to trade away assets. Hopefully they lose a ton of games and get a draft pick lol

  4. Warriors wasted five years depreciating the value of all their young draft picks with a top 5 player of all time on the roster šŸ˜‚

  5. Steph needs to use his power to get them to improve the roster or ask for a trade otherwise its his fault he can exert power and should

  6. Terrible take. They don't believe in Steph? Seriously? What was that whole Giannis offer to clean out the cupboards? The front office's waiting for a big swing on Giannis is because they know that it will take a superstar like that in addition to Steph and Jimmy to have any shot. None of the young talent has made a leap. Draymond is breaking down physically. Anything less than a Giannis-style mega-trade just mortgages the future for nothing. JJJ? Not even close. This is what happens at the end of a dynasty. You are left with bad vs worse decisions. I'm not saying they didn't make mistakes. They did. But some version of this is inevitable.

  7. ah yes the usual. blame the front office and coaches when ā€œsuperstar playersā€ cant perform ie lebron, kd, kobe, curry but when they win it’s the players šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚.

  8. Draymond Green was a second-round selection. Steph was the 7th overall pick, and Klay was the 13th overall pick. To say picks never pan out isn’t always true. I’m a huge advocate for going out and getting a player to make your team better, but Golden State has had success in the draft. I understand being conservative, especially with their stars aging, plus they did go get Jimmy last year. Steph got injured in the playoffs, and Jimmy tore his ACL this year.

  9. I was surprised to hear Jason claim he knows that the Warriors ā€œdon’t believe in Steph Curry.ā€
I usually think Jason has integrity but that is such a childish, obvious, borderline Trunpian lie. And then he’s reasoning from his claim to be able to read minds. He must think his audience is stupid.

  10. When does the rebuild start at this point ? When is kerrs contract up ? When is dunleavy getting replaced with someone competent?

  11. Take this year two good picks at draft 2026 (Yaxel Lend., and JT Toppin), resign Porzingis for a cheaper deal, sign a good player at the free agency, and 2026/2027: the Last Dance for this team

  12. what i hate the most is the lying, they said if they couldn’t get giannis or someone who who moved the needle like him, they wouldn’t trade kuminga (which makes sense because there would be no point) dunleavy is ONLY good at drafting nothing else, he sucks at trading and negotiating

  13. I agree, at one time Warriors did a awesome job building a team, with new ownership and coaching but later led to there demise, they thought they can make small moves and play it safe adding small moves. They didn’t focus on getting another impact player. I think Kerr is done and Dunleavy.

  14. Last shot is a SOFT TANK this year. Build health and chemistry with Porzingis and Curry and see what happens this summer. Lose decently with 3ball entertainment with Curry Bros. and Porzingis. Stay competitive give Pods, Moody, Richard, Santos, Spencer alot of run time and build experience and value. Miss the playoffs and hope to get a top 10 lottery pick and include this in a trade for Giannis = 6 picks (3 picks in this year’s draft + 3 future firsts) + Podz and Moody + Porzingis contract ends this season if he is good value Sign and Trade him (Melton) owning Bird Rights. 2027 Roster = Curry, Giannis, Butler, resign Green (player option 2027) to a extended player friendly contract (BIG 4) and Richard 5th starter and off the bench Santos, Spencer and veteran min signings to complete the roster. If they pull a Mavs heist like last year, and get a top 3 pick Draft Boozer if Giannis trade is not possible retain Porzingis if he’s healthy. Porzingis, Green, Butler, Curry, Boozer

  15. Basketball is different, baseball there's 9 players and football there's 11 on a team so every player has to be able to do everything and be the best in the world
