NBA Trade Deadline Recap | By The Horns

The NBA Trade Deadline takes center stage as the crew breaks down where the Bulls stand coming out of a busy day and why the roster is still a work in progress. K.C. Johnson offers his perspective on what he called the “wildest deadline” he’s ever covered, setting the stage for how Chicago’s moves fit into the league-wide chaos.

From there, the focus shifts to the newcomers, evaluating how players like Jaden Ivey, Anfernee Simons, Collin Sexton, Rob Dillingham and others could shape both the Bulls’ present and long-term direction. The episode wraps up with a look back at the Bulls tenures of Nikola Vučević, Coby White, Ayo Dosunmu, Javon Carter and Kevin Huerter, reflecting on their impact and what their departures mean for the franchise going forward.

  1. That 2019 draft the Bulls chose Carter 7th. Cle took Sexton 8th. AK took Porter jr 14th. Simons was 22nd. Im guessing AK scouted these guys some already and now they evaluate the fit with Josh and Matas

  2. I think the Bulls clearly won the trade deadline. They made the most trades of any team and stayed in the exact same place. The level of incompetence is hard to match.

  3. This isn't the NFL Gorman this sucks ass shit returns for players at the we thought waiting no even players at there peak god a bag of dicks I hope every player that leaves becomes all NBA and pooch wins a chip and I hope most seconds don't make it past a year action for action isn't picking a direction its selling low on the home town picks you developed spent money and quit on like lauri and every other we quit on he makes shit decisions time after time tired the middle dude put us giving we dal carter two firsts for vooch had -100 +- for 4 year before gave a damn near starting team for him dear pooch all his choices are why they young guys were a star away godamn they 2 games out of 6 place then sold off anything that could be a asset and got bag of dicks we are so fuckd I'm go with min and mayo I can't do this anymore good look matas!!

  4. All ima say is this shit getting on my mfkn nerves. Bulls let the Jordan dynasty walk let jamal crawford slide loss JWill to a bike drafted Aldridge only to trade him for tryus thomas traded rose for bums damn near killed luol tradws a young defensive center away for Vuc traded for and xtra paid broken lonzo traded caruso for a non defensive 6-8 slow ass pg traded Zach and Demar for bums too. Had to deal wit alot… But its seered til I'm dead

  5. The Bulls are not going to extend anyone they traded for. Ayo played well enough to get extended and yet they trade him. Having cap space and flexibility is because they are afraid to commit to players. I would like to know what more Ayo could have done for the Bulls to extend him? You can’t say “well he just had so much value” because they got nothing for him

  6. thanks for humanizing the guys. gonna miss those dudes, but looking forward to the future. fingers crossed Ayo comes back later in his career 🤞

  7. Commentary and opinion is very soft given the fact chsn puts food on the table based off Chicago teams. We the fans are not happy
