He’s the second player in league history to notch a 40-point triple-double on 75% shooting, second only to Wilt Chamberlain.
Only Los Angeles Lakers stars LeBron James and Luka Doncic have recorded that stat line at a younger age.
Victor Wembanyama scored 16 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for San Antonio (36-16) who departs for their annual “Rodeo Road Trip” starting Tuesday in Los Angeles against James and the Lakers.
Klay Thompson scored a team-high 19 points for Dallas (19-33) while rookie Cooper Flagg scored 14.

This should quiet down the rumors about his shooting and trading him. He's a Spur for life!!

Stephon as good as prime Michael Jordan last night. But let’s be serious: Castle is not good enough by today’s NBA standards: he only made three 3 pointers and 31 other points, with an underwhelming 12 rebounds and had a hard time to reach 12 assists. He must be traded, right now, for an elite 3 pts shooter. Let’s trade all Spurs for 3 pts shooters by the way, in order to watch real basketball. It’s not fun anymore, folks. Something must be done in the trade market, right now, or I'll have a heart attack!

2. The team play was beautiful basketball tonight! I hope the guys see that involving Wemby in the offense often benefits everyone. Wemby is so selfless and you could see how much he appreciated the guys finding him and in return he found them- if we play team ball where Wemby is the centerpiece we really have a shot at the title!
