As a Bulls fan, the Wolves definitely won this trade big time. I love Ayo I was hoping they would've resigned him, but we have the worst front office in the league. He's the perfect fit next to Edward's, so I'll be low-key rooting for the Wolves the rest of the season because I can't stand my own team right now.
Bulls fan here. Ayo's a decent role player overall. Won't make any highlight reels or carry the load deep into the season. In last Play-in elimination game vs MIA, he went 3-15 in 41 minutes while Tyler Herro torched the Bulls for 38 points. This was the 3rd year in a row Bulls were eliminated by MIA in Play-in matchup.
I was really hoping we'd pull a move like this – get better bench depth, and not disrupt the core team too much. If we can't pull it off this year, then think of something more disruptive in the off-season. Can't wait to see what Ayo brings, and I hope Dilly gets a chance to shine on the Bulls!
I like this move way more than trading half our core for Giannis. We upgraded in a spot that was needed and lost nothing that was contributing to winning

Ayyyoooo!! He's a dawg. High character, iq & motor. Always plays so hard. A long 6'4" with that wingspan. His shooting splits, playmaking & defense are already a huge upgrade for us. Just turned 26, so matches up great with our core long term. You just feel like playing with Ant & his contagious competitive nature is gonna take Ayo to another level too. 🐺🌲💙💚
Pair him up off the bench with Naz and Donte. Naz is great shooter, Donte can get hot and is very good on defense. And then Ayo is just as scrappy maybe even more than Donte on defense. And then his play making and IQ on offense will be a big help
Please respect Julius Randall’s kick outs. It’s not easy to get open threes in the NBA he’s getting guys wide open looks Julius Randall is in my opinion top 10 in mba
I love Bones but he's just too small on defense. I hate when trades completely change a team like Giannis would have done. Ayo is a great ADDITION to the team which is all I wanted 🙌
