Mac McClung Makes His 2026 Chicago Bulls Debut

Sorry about the Spanish audio, I’m currently on vacation in Colombia and Amazon wouldn’t allow me to change the audio language. As for the game, Mac played alright, he really only gave up 1 basket on defense which was good. Offensively he had 2 nice buckets and a couple nice passes, but he missed both 3 point attempts and an easy layup, He also had 1 turnover and 1 near turnover. It sucks he doesn’t get the opportunities other guys get cus when he finally gets one like tonight the pressure is on to play near perfect which he obviously didn’t do tonight.

Hopefully he’ll get some more opportunities but unfortunately it’s unlikely after tonight since the Bulls were missing a bunch of guys due to trades and injuries. They have a ton of guards and Mac is bottom on their list behind even Yuki. So moving forward he’ll likely only see garbage time minutes. This is also his last season of 2 way eligibilty so after this season Mac will only be able to sign standard and 10 day deals. Best case scenario the Bulls play absolutely awful the rest of the season and go into tank mode for the last 15 games or so which could open up some playing time for Mac.

  1. It's even better in Spanish. I thought it was AI and had to check the news. He has three guys covering him and still scores. Same old Mac attack. No game is perfect and we need a team to believe in him more than we need for him to play great. Thanks for the post.

  2. I'm glad he played and did pretty decent, but unfortunately the Bulls are very guard heavy. I hope he can go to a team that plays him solid mins all year!

  3. Maybe they'll keep him on the roster for at least a month and give him a chance to show what he's got at the highest level 👍👍

  4. As a kings fan…id rather see Mcclung than Westbrook or Schroder…We need a point guard that can make plays for his teammates…you can see McClung is looking to push it up and very hard to guard….his teammates will be getting a lot of open shots

  5. As usual, looks every bit an NBA player when he gets a chance, I'd like to see him show that he can hit that 3 ball though, we know he can do it and being lights out from 3 could be his ticket to a real contract.
