I'm a Michigan fan as well as a Lakers fan and I think we got a steal.

With Cam Thomas signing in Milwaukee, I don't see any remaining players on the buyout market worth waiving a current player.
Definitely love the Lakers signing Kobe Bufkin. I also don’t see the Lakers releasing anyone because they don’t want dead cap on their books in the summer.

Don’t think they will waive a player. Maxi has been plying too well. Waiving DK will create dead money on the books for next year. At this point, they’re probably looking into the future. Start by signing Kobe and use their cap space this summer to fully build around Luka and AR.
The lowest value expiring contract that can be bought out easily is Jax Hayes. 3 mill makes him more expendable without sacrificing this summers roster reset
The question is will the lakers develop him? They should have given knect pt in the g league to regain his confidence. Play Adieu with Luka or Austin half of the time instead of when a game is over. Jj will still play his 9 man rotation. Meaning Kobe will be glued to the bench as well. Mannion barely got run with lakers. I like Nick Smith but lakers should try to help him develop his game too.

I know casuals are going to say ”no don't waive Kleber ! He played well the last 3 games!” but we need a 3&Dish wing much more than we need a third string center
Thybulle would be a good option just to add depth to the wing. But I get Kobe could be a shooter for us
