This team is just unserious. Absolutely disgusting loss and itās partially on Jokic, as usual. People hate when I criticize him but this is his personality that the team adopts, not the coachās. Sometimes he just doesnāt care and as these sort of losses pile it becomes more and more apparent this team is not winning the championship. Every year we just convince ourselves itāll all come together and it just hasnāt since 23ā
Maybe Iām seeing it through a nuggets bias/perspective, but man, does ball arena get nervous? Like I know CB hit a big 3 but every shot after that was just a brick show.
Can we petition someone from the media to ask JokiÄ a question about his foul-baiting? Like what is in his head trying to draw those fouls or is it related to him not yelling at officials to get them to call more on his foul-baiting. Let's get a move on this people before it's too late.
If (and honestly just starting to feel like when) this happens in the playoffs, it will be devastating. Happened in the last two playoffs in the season ending losses (granted OKC was early on), but you have to push leads out. You canāt go up double digits then give up multiple 3 point makes. Hell you canāt go to game 7 year after year. Take care of business but this team (more so adelman, jokic and Murray) canāt handle it

Title could just as easily be "worst clutchtime contender in the NBA this season & it CANNOT be close." (among the worst ever? I'd love to see the stats but ya would have to take out the games Jokic missed-they were actually clutch during that stretch somehow) They understandably couldn't blow anyone out missing Jokic,& multiple dudes but won several close games. But if Jokic plays & they don't blow you out…or at least win quasi comfortably-they have almost no chance. Except on Christmas (which took an epic Nugs gag to even get to OT but that's the rare 1 they did pull out) vs Minny who does a lot of the same things. Blows out a lot of teams & wins games they shouldn't.
But pisses away leads,games they should win,& sucks in clutchtime games also but we gotta be worse. Nugs do suck at home & are great on the road big picture.(for 2 yrs) But even on the road they've blown FAR MORE close games than they've won when Jokic is in-at GS,Portland,NY,Orlando,Dallas,& Detroit (at Detroit they didn't blow that game but was ANOTHER 1 possession game,& Jamal did blow the game here TWICE on tying FTs at the end)…it's just they win comfortably far less at home than the road but they are awful in close games home or away. They blow a lot of teams out…& rarely get blown out themselves-that good. They just almost never win close games…UNLESS JOKIC,& AT LEAST 5 OTHER ROTATION GUYS DONT PLAY! That's way beyond PATHETIC!
