He owes us. We finally get a great team with Gil, Caron, and Antwan, and then Cleveland gets LeBron and he single handedly beats us every year in the playoffs. I still remember.
This would never happen. The front office brought in AD and Trae to compliment the young players development. Lebron would stunt the growth of the wizkids IMO. It would instantly become "His" team. And that would be counter to the approach of the complimentary ball they are trying to do in this phase of the rebuild. They want one of the young boys including the 2026 Draft picks to turn into the Alpha moving forward.

You must not have seen David Aldridge talk aboit his interview with Anthony Davis. He said AD essntially said he's not interested in being on a team for 2 -3 years without a chance to be a real contender. He's going to be 33 yrs old soon and wants to be somewhere he can complete.
The Wizards are not a year away from competing so no chance LeBron comes there to waste his time.
