Embiid has been one of most dominant players past decade always able carry a team of nobodies to the playoffs.. GMs failed miserably to build a team around him. Its either has been stars or bunch of role players.. Same thing this year..bunch of role players g league guys. and two way contract guys…Take a deep look at Roster and tell me which one was contending?? only time it may have been was half yr rental with Butler but nobody was beatin prime Kawhi that year
ts MAxey and a bunch of borderline gleague bums….u think Edwards, bona, Beauchamp, Oubre , barlow is good enough to beat good teams…Most of those guys are inconsistent as hell and not much better than g league guys on most nights.. MAxey and Embiid hide there inefficiency most nights….Blame GM and Owner not getting real help this offseason or this trade deadline.. Our roster is bunch of former two way contracts and g league guys.. And we gave away our Best shooter off the bench for a bag of chips.
When we play other teams without their best player(s) it becomes a 1 possession game, we even lost to Denver without its entire starting lineup. However, when we play other teams without our best player, we don't even look like a legitimate professional team….smh and the amount of fans that wanted to trade Embiid at the beginning of the year.
The issue might actually be Embiid. It sounds crazy, but it feels like the team knows its roles when he’s on the floor, and everything falls apart when he’s off. That’s a new problem. Earlier in the season he was out, and the team found a rhythm without him. Now they’re trying to readjust, and it’s not smooth.
Seriously last night looked like one of those 8-1 hockey games where the goalie was hung out to dry because there were 10 eyes constantly on the puck 🙄
The combination of Josh Harris, Morey and Nurse is pitiful. Everything about the team is embarrassing. Trading away a fundamentally sound player/shooter/ ball handler in McCain was my breaking point. I'm done
They needed to play a double big lineup to combat Robinson and Towns. I'm also so sick of the double someone then give up the wide open 3 on every play.
I am a die hard Philly fan looking on from Uganda. I lived in Philly for 30 years and returned home 6 years ago. You know once a Philly fan always a Philly fan. Why does it always look like we have the best chance both for the Eagles and Sixres and all of a sudden boom! Implosion! We know what happened to the Eagles offense last season loaded with all talent in JH1, SB26, AJ11 and Skinny leaper…. with all that and KP screwing up everything. Now we got the Sixers with the best talent in the league in a long time and an owner whose mind is with the Commanders in DC and once again Joel Embiid about to fall on his face come the playoffs with all the talent he has around him. Sixers as an organization need to look at their rotations and coaching strategies otherwise we shall not make it deep into the playoffs I feel bad for Embiid and now am worried about VJ because his rookie number are not were they are supposed to be with his talent. And Tyrese Maxey who might burn out before he reaches his potential because I don't think that boy has touched the ceiling yet. Joel Embiid is the best thing to happen to Philly after Allen Iverson now with Tyrese Maxey and Edgecombe we should be unbeatable. I think we lack good coaching even though I don't hear any hate on Nick Nurse but I see that he leaves a lot of meat on the bone on the court. With such a trio we should be a scary team in the league. Not a maybe-maybe not. Period!!!!
You cant depend on Embiid to be a core piece of the team. You have to have a plan B. He played to be on the all star team. The NBA refused to give it to him. He is going to be out the next 6 at least. Start building the team around Maxey and Edgecombe.

Nick Nurse is a fraud. Needs to be fired before the second half of the season. What do we have too lose?
