If the lottery is flawed thats even more reason that tanking is stupid. Who we tanking for? None of these guys are averaging 25 straight out of college. Wasting a season for a developing player
I don't really have an issue with tanking. Here is the thing, that is the only way some teams can build. There are certain teams that FAs, at least superstars and stars, don't want to go to. So, should those teams just stay non competitive or mediocre for their whole span until they luck into the right pieces? 😂
I think he saying everyone should try their best and the chips fall where they fall, so the actual worst team gets the top pick… not the team that tanks for it intentionally
