  1. Create the international NBA tournament. Increase, roster spots for qualified teams. As a result increase said teams wage cap. Banned tanking teams from international tournament for two years. less money to offer to free agents. less money to offer their players extensions.

  2. ESPN IS JUST MAD BECAUSE THE LAKERS SAT DOWN PLAYERS DURING A ESPN NATIONAL TV GAME

  3. They need to quit incentivizing losing. Perhaps still give the best odds for the #1 pick to the worst record but then give the 2nd best odds to the team with the best record. 2nd worst team with the next best odds and then the 2nd best team with the next best odds and so on and so forth.

  4. It's crazy that the NBA has to try and come up with ideas to get their players to play. Just take away their money

  5. It's actually an easy fix. They just need to give the bottom 15 teams the same odds in the draft.

  6. Tanking is dumb. Why not invest in developing players, better strategy, team building, attracting talent, better scouting… So many superstars weren't lottery picks.

  7. Draft should just always be random. Either that, or reduce a team's lottery odds every time they are caught intentionally tanking.

  8. I think you shouldnt be rewarded for losing and punished for winning so i think every team should have equal chances in lottery draft and i think the real answer is very strict salary cap where for example if OKC got lucky and drafted some supertalent then he would have to decide after some time if he wants to stay and play for 20 milion because other players in OKC earn so much or he leaves for weaker team like Sacramento and they give him 50 million a year.

  9. Solution For NBA tanking: Reward top regular season teams or final four playoff teams with best draft pick odds to reward winning culture! The salary cap will always insure league parity because the top teams with draft assets will have the tough decision to trade picks or trade 1st, 2nd apron contract players! The best part is top talent will land in a winning situation incentivizing player growth and development. Yielding a better product for fans to watch.

  10. Honest question – Can someone explain why every team just can't have the same odds for the draft? Ex: OKC would have the same odds at Utah. Would that not solve team tanking?

  11. Since everything is televised these days, to eliminate tanking, why not hold a mini-tournament for the bottom-ranked teams to see who gets the first pick in the draft? That would make things interesting, and they wouldn't be so easily beaten because they'd be relying on their own performance, not luck, to get the best player in the draft. Or, the team that finishes closest to qualifying for the playoffs, rather than last place, would have a better chance of getting the first pick. 🤔
