I agree with SAS. If you contain shai, you can contain the Thunder.
Other teams in the west have two dominant stars. (Nuggets, LAL, Spurs, Wolves)
OKC wasn't favored to win the West or the NBA Championship last year. They are a good team, and at times look down right scary. Their issue is they won and no matter what, it's incredibly difficult to remain hungry, combined with the rest of the league is better overall. I expect they make it to the WCFs and lose there.
Thunder looking vulnerable recently midway thru the season after a deep title run last year. Due to mostly injuries, what do you expect them to cruise to another title with basically the same team. When the rest of the contending teams got better in the off season just to beat them. Even so Thunder at their best with SGA is still far better than the field
When teams, even Wimby, kept saying OKC were not playing legit and were getting beneficial favoritism calls from the refs, I think it got in their heads and soon after they started losing.
NBA is a game on the court but also external noise can get in your head and affect your game and mindset
As a warriors fan, any enemy of my enemy is my friend. Go get em Spurs ๐ซก
Wait Stephen a is taking the thunder? That does it the thunder are for sure not going back to back now
Who is gonna beat them in Seven though? Nobody, that's who๐
I agree with Windy- It's still the thunder but i would love to see them matchup with the spurs in the playoffs- That will be a great series and the spurs can beat them.
I actually canโt with this guy Stephen a๐ญidk why he never accounts for injured or players not playing and then when teams lose without key players, he says their not good teams
Cam a straight bucket ๐ฏwaived him cause wasnโt trying to pay him smh
absolutely no word on the twolves is diabolical, do these guys just watch highlight reels and not pay any attention to games? spurs and twolves both beat them twice.
No
Call me crazy, but I wanna see a Knicks VS Nuggets finals.
Mmmmmmmmmmmmm video smells like FRESH BAIT
I don't see the Thunder winning the title this year, even as a fan. This isn't a knack on the team or just my bias towards another team but going back to back is basically impossible in today's league, especially with the same team.
Minnesota ain't beating no one
San Antonio is young, still not ready
Only Denver & Houston can possibly beat Oklahoma City
Okc never hit a lot of 3's…
Dame is pathetic
He wants to be in the spotlight but won't suit up to play for the Blazers
He's become an absolute arrogant clown
first take soo much better with out molly but i miss shannon a little
Last time we seen Denver in the playoffs OKC was blowing them out by 30 Denver and SA are good but they not OKC
The rockets are trash literally garbage so are the lakers
Last year ESPN said OKC has to prove it b4 they believe it and this year they saying the spurs can win it all with out any โ experienceโ
so only the Thunder has injuries? stop it, Windhorst is an OKC **licker
Bro how you gonna talk about denver being a threat okc beat them by 10 with sga dog walking the joker ๐ just stop
As a Spurs fan since 1991, I'm definitely being biased and saying we're contenders and going to win it all for sure. But realistically on a basketball point of view, we do lack experience so it'll be a tough battle in the playoffs. Just like how the Thunder won last year, it took like 2-3 years to finally get over that hump. We are way ahead of schedule though so it is exciting to see. I'm just happy to see them contending after the last 8 years.
I thought yesterday was Davidโs last day at ESPN lol
A healthy OKC is not beating the Spurs in a 7 game series. What answers do they have to stop Wemby?
OKC will get every team's best effort. If they don't pace themselves, they will likely be burnt out at some point during the playoffs. This is why I respect the Warriors dynasty. Between 2015 to 2022 they played 648 regular season games plus another 145 playoff games getting every team's best. They averaged nearly 100 games per year for 8 straight years.
They do this every yearโฆ
Lebron had triple doulble last night lakers are๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ข๐ข๐ฎ๐ฎ๐ฎ๐ ๐
If the refs allow them to mug other teams like they did last year and you canโt touch Shai then they will repeat. If they donโt allow that, to the extend they did last year they will lose
Spurs have no chance ๐ they havenโt even won a series but they gonna go all the way to the finals ๐๐๐. Every team have to take steps the Spurs are no different.
everytime the thunder lose these guys just act like the world is ending, as of now the thunder are still coming out the west nobody is beating them in a 7 game series๐
Denver, San Antonio, Houston, and letโs not forget the new look Timberwolves can knock off the Thunder in a 7 game series. All those teams have the depth to go toe to toe with them.
Timberwolves won multiple games against them too? Get better at your job ESPN
I donโt believe anyone ever feared the thunder not even last season
Y'all sleeping on d book in the 3pt contest
STEPHEN A SMITH HAS PROBABLY BEEN PLAYING SOLITAIRE RATHER THAN WATCHING THE NBA. STEPHEN A SMITH'S KNOWLEDGE ABOUT NBA BASKETBALL IS DEFICIENT SO HIS WORDS ABOUT THE NBA ARE NOT CREDIBLE OR TRUSTWORTHY
But SGA is on stacked team right? They don't need him huh?
Yes.
Im tired of hearing, "KD Warriors." The hell has KD done WITHOUT the Warriors? Nothing.
I respect what OKC did in getting all those picks, they sacrificed and i told people OKC would be a super team 5 years ago and nobody believed me, casuals. I DONT respect the Spurs team because yall were distracted by other teams and trades while the NBA was throwing these guys GREAT picks and yall have said NOTHING about hoe they got this bs. If it was the Lakers yall would've been FURIOUS as to how the NBA gift wrapped this organization great young talent smfh
Dame should NOT be in the 3pt shootout! Sure, there's the star power. By why not showcase and reward those who have been shooting well, also? Why has Isaiah Joe never been in the contest?? He's been lights out for the past 4 years already. His 3% this year is better than some of the official contestants. Way to go, NBA!
DAME โฐ
โDo What You Do B E S T!โ
๐ฏ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐
OKC is unstoppable
Anyone but the spurs, please and thank you
Bro I promise you this mf just said the complete opposite a couple of days ago ๐
they just say anything for clout they doubted the thunder all of last year. saying they won't win when they're healthy because they played poorly with a bunch of injuries. Spurs "not being afraid" of them doesn't matter when u have 0 minutes of experience in the playoffs either
Aye okc 42-14 and there talking like there 23-24
The Warriors championship in the year 1718 eh Windy
