Sorry for the rant, this whole Sochan situation has been a mess and now he's going to the team that wanted to trade for him and the Spurs got nothing! Congrats Jeremy, best of luck in New York. Thanks for watching and GO SPURS GO!
Looks like Okc just lost vs the Bucks i am actually shocked. Now Okc just have a 3 Game lead on the Spurs 2 games in the lost column with Okc having the 2nd hardest schedulle in the NBA behind only the Nuggets.

Weird im a rockets fan that thought selling low on cam whitmore for a second round pick was trash. Sochan was definitely worth more than nothing. But if they wanted a salary dump for cap soace who knows?

It speaks volumes that he had 10 interested teams. That is 1/3 of the entire league. And also that he got his new team in that short amount of time. That tells me he is definitely valued around the league – and other teams see potential that the spurs coaching staff is just not able or willing to convert. I am happy for the knicks – i am spurs fan but I like the Knicks and I am happy he did not end up with the Lakers or OKC. I hope Jeremy can show now what he is capable of and what his potential is. His most apparent weakness is his 3pt shot – but that can be improved easier than if he was bad on defense. I don't think any other team bought out a 22 year old – that does not happen all too often I think…

I'm convinced Jeremy fucked Mitch's wife. Kell's contract expires at the end of the season and probably wont be re-signed but yabusele has a player option that the spurs didnt want
Something was off since Jeremy did not choose the extension, or perhaps there's something else not so obvious such as his shooting… sad this how it turned out for another L of Spurs draft pick. And Jeremy had been professional during all of it, lets wait when he speaks about this in one of the podcasts year/s from now… But gotta to move on.. Will still cheer for him, they will face him and Knicks on March 1st, gonna be fun when I see him irritate Wemby on the floor all while smiling 😛

I am a Spurs fan. I like Sochan and what he brings to a team. He is a "glue" guy but, this is such an over reaction! They are 38-16 at the 2 seed. Sochan wasn't on the floor and they have this record. You rather he play and average a double double and they be in the lottery again? I read a report that the Knicks offered Guerschon Yabusele, another player, and a second round pick. The understanding the Knicks wanted was that the Spurs accept the option on Yabusele's contract for next season. The Spurs said no. They did this with Aldridge. They had him on the block, didnt like the offers so they bought him out. He signed with the Nets. They have done this before! Its kinda a good player relations deal. Yes you can accept a trade for water and a chip for the player or release them and let them go where they wish if you want to show you appreciate what they did for you… Go Spurs Go!

Hope he doesn't do a "DeJuan Blair" ie kicking a Spur (Tiago) while playing as an ex-Spur/for another team (that time Mavs)
Spurs need to choose either Sochan or Carter Bryant… and Spurs had given Sochan enough time to develop but Carter Bryant looks more promising.
For real, Mitch low key hates this dude. Can't for the life of me figure out why.
