I've been saying this for years. JAMES HARDEN IS THE PROBLEM
As a Cleveland native, I am trying to withhold any opinion until I see this "new team" on the floor. My Dad is a basketball guy, but he told me he doesn't like Harden. I don't think there's a lot of middle ground here… either these trades are going to accelerate the improvement or this team will not mesh. They were playing a lot better lately, so I guess we'll see.

I don't believe that Donovan forced the Cavs to trade for Harden. If so, I don't believe he wanted them to trade Garland who he was great friends with and admired.

I don't see this working out. James Harden is a poison pill and sooner or later things are going to go south just like it has in his previous stops over the past several years. Plus he's 36 years old and on the decline. I know Darius Garland has a notable injury history but so did Steph Curry earlier in his career. If he's able to get and stay healthy with the Clippers the Cavs are going to regret this big time regardless of the James Harden factor.
