Utah should have Cooper Flag, ESPN making a big deal about nothing and getting Utah Jazz fined. Every team rests players, I'd love to see other teams fined. Was the Jazz tanking all year when they were losing with their starters??? 😅😂😂😅
Every single person who bought tickets to the game should be refunded. Not only for the ticket but for any food purchased. This is the easiest class action lawsuit in history. They have admitted the wrongdoing. And not just this game, but apparently tons of games. This is fraud.
This has been going on for years, and now the Jazz get targeted and fined? The jazz have been historically a playoff team up until the Rudy and Donavan trades. Some teams tank for years without anyone crying about it. This is crazy!
How about every team has the same odds except for 2 teams in the finals. No incentive to lose.
Also once you get a top 5 pick you can’t get a top 5 pick for 5 more years. So when they draw ping pong ball’s they take those teams out. Keeps it fair and doesn’t reward losing.
Don’t put a bunch of ping pong balls in, just put in 1 per team.
THE JAZZ WON THE GAME AGAINST MIAMI AND GOT FINED FOR IT. what a complete joke. How can you tell the jazz who to play in their line up when they win. Okay so Adam silver should be choosing the rotations then I guess
If the NBA cared about integrity they wouldn't have fixed the draft for the Mavs. The kings rested 7 players when they lost to the Jazz. They weren't fined.
$500k fine for sitting a player with a medical minutes restriction in a game that didn't matter. The NBA is a joke. In the last year they've had more gambling scandals followed by Luka being gifted to the Lakers and the Mavs being gifted Cooper Flagg.
Adam Silver is an incompetent hypocrite. All bad teams in the NBA tank. To single out Utah is simply Utah hating. NBA basketball is unwatchable. Clean up the fraudulent point shaving by its referees. Gambling fraud is rampant in the NBA.
"Prioritizing draft position over winning". Ummmm. Draft position IS winning in the NBA, unless you are the Lakers and the league gifts you top players.
I don't think tanking is something you can control and you have to let teams rebuild.
Eliminate the lottery and draft in order like the other leagues but teams with the top five draft picks can't participate in the playoffs next season. I don't know if this will be a deterrent but arbitrary fines won't be either. Those fines will just let teams be less obvious about it. There will always be loopholes.
If you are going to bring in all these changes to stop tanking then bring in the same rules for the top seeds for resting there players all at once if they are legitimate injured fine but if they are on the bench laughing and dancing then punish them all by making the 65 game rule an eligibility for the playoffs. No exceptions for any team or players if the players still choose to sit out then they can pay every person in the stands personally $1000 dollars each for them resting and disrespecting the fans and the games
Get rid of loss based drafting. Instead of worst team gets first pick the NBA should put all the teams in a hat and draw team orders every year. Problem solved.
80% of the Pacers are injured with season ending injuries and they have never once tanked and have never once had even a top 6 pick since Mathurin ever… Let alone a top 1-5 pick.. yet all other teams are the ones truly tanking.

Where does that money go to?

The players have no shame. There's not much you can do when the players are of low character.

So, load management = ok; tanking when your team stinks = not ok. Sorry Adam, you are about 25 years too late in this.
Jazz still won the game in Miami. They were giving more minutes to their young guys to develop them which is what they should do.

Adam Silver will make sure the Jazz draft at 7 or 8. Watch. Portland will jump into the top 3.
Those are cheap fines

It's a dumb move using fines for sitting players,
This is why they are now creating fake injuries
We have to remember if people are paying for tickets they don’t want to watch the bench play all game
We need the 90s nba back
I remember if you had pumps at school you were the cool kid😂

utah jazz arnt the only one that has been doing thing there are lots of other teams ryan has to file a class action lawsuit
Stupid how the Jazz were targeted. They got fined for tanking in a game where they beat Miami😂
