  1. The Jazz traded him because they were in great financial distress. The $1,000,000 they received in the trade helped keep the franchise afloat.

  2. Nique was my favorite player. I found him bc I was smaller than my class mates. Then I found spud Webb and he played with this fantastic player name Dominique Wilkins. He’s still my favorite player ever. When my folks got cable we got tbs. I was so juiced to be able to watch him go to battle with Larry n Celtics and the Cavs and of coarse the goat Mj and the bad boys pistons. This brought me back to some of my favorite sports memories. The nba was so raw in the 80s. I thought maybe just maybe Atlanta might win just one championship. But Nique got hurt and they got Kevin and they never really were in their primes together. I loved spud Webb so I eventually became a Sacramento Kings fan unfortunately too. Still love the hawks

  3. It’s funny he said that because Adrian Dantley played more in the post like a power forward despite his shorter stature. He basically could have gone to Utah and be listed as a power forward but he would’ve essentially played small forward.

  4. Utah would've been on some good crack putting Adrian Dantley and Nique together.. May have been the worse defense of all time 😂😂😂😂

  5. Might have wound up with Stockton AND Malone if Dominique would’ve gone to Utah and Utah could’ve just tanked two more seasons or won and traded up to get Malone.

Malone came out in 1985 with Ewing, Mullin, Tisdale, X-Man, Dumars, Schrempf, Porter, Ellie, Mitchell, A.C. Green, Spud, and Oakley, right? Nice draft at the top, btw. A few serious misses, but a lot of very nice players.

  6. The 86-87 Hawks was the best team. Great role players in Levingston, Carr, Battle, Whitman, Webb, Rollins, Willis and Koncak. I think the mistake was to give more minutes to Koncak instead of Kevin Willis due to his contract (he made more than Larry Bird). Isiah doing that dance still hurts me more than Larry Bird, Jim Leyritz and Tom Brady combined.

  7. I'm happy he saved the Hawks franchise but it's understandable why he never won a championship and the franchise ain't never hoisted a banner in the rafters

  8. Anybody notice how it's completely OK for blacks to be as RACIST as they wanna be. And they all laugh & smile with eachother as they're doing it OPENLY. Ive liked Dominique for over 40 yrs. Not anymore. He's just one of countless entertainers over the last few years who've shown they don't deserve ANY admiration.

  9. "Matt Barnes Evidently Doesn't Know NBA History .. Or Didn't Want To Elaborate. .. I'm Glad Dominique Mentioned That John Drew Was A Star. .. For A 3 Or 4 Year Period, John Drew Was An NBA All-Star And Scoring Machine Who Once Scored 71 Points In A College Game BEFORE The 3 Point Line Was Instituted. .. But Tragically, In The Prime Of His NBA Career .. He Became Addicted And Fell Victim To Drugs. .. And THAT'S The Reason It Became One Of The Worst Trades".
