The LA Lakers made one insignificant move at the trade deadline. The reason for this has to do with the new owners and now a report says major changes are coming within the organization.

  1. Rather have bron take massive cut with the lakers if they get Giannis with Luka, and would be the vet of the team with extreme experience and less expectation as before and load manage for the playoffs, and his style of play can benefit Giannis into being a better shooter, and even though ayton is not doing so well, bringing in Gianni’s would open a lot for him offensively

  2. How many times have we listened about Giannis (not) leaving the Bucks…." BUT THIS TIME IS DIFFERENT "…..??

  3. Greedy Lakers fans think they can pull Jarrett Allen for 1 year of Lebron. Why would we do that ever, when we could wait 3 months?

  4. Lebron should’ve went minimum on the lakers and allowed them to build a stronger contender with him on it. That way he could’ve won another ring….

  5. Los Angeles 500 Lakers ! Team ,they are a play in team year in and year out ! They are not supposed to have Luka , beside that ,dark future, no young talent or future drafts ! It's go onna take 5 to 6 years and excellent management to build a true contender! Luka should be playing for a contender rn ,he should ask out

  6. Obvious.
    0. Fire Pelinka, bring in the Dodgers management.
    1. Let Lebron go to Cavs. Split his money between Reaves and Peyton Watson
    2. Let Rui go. Hire a <backup 3nD guy> with his money.
    3. Let Ayton and Knecht go, move Kleber to vet minimum, use those money to hire a <starting center>.
    4. Fill the 14-th roster spot with a <prospect>, keep fishing for possible hidden gems with 2-ways.
Result: starters: Smart, Luka, Watson, LaRavia, <starting center>; backup: Reaves, Kennard, <backup 3nD guy>, Vando, Hayes; third-stringers: Bronny, Thiero, Kleber, <prospect>, open 15-th roster spot to promote some 2-way or undrafted guy or do a trade.

  7. Only major change Lakers need is Lebron gone… he's toxic for the team. I've never seen more a desperate statpad tripple double that the one Lebron got last night. They had to keep all the starters in for an extra few minutes just so he could get for no reason at all. He was getting pissed off at AR for getting rebounds. It was pathetic. The entire Mavs bench was laughing the entire time.

  8. Fans have been wishing Lebron away, but I think the grass always looks greener before you get there. A post-LBJ Lakers team is not currently built to make any serious noise in the west and they are not 1 or 2 pieces away, they're a handful. Giannis could also find himself in the west this summer, so the conference is over saturated. Pelinka has also triggered a cooldown for other teams to be really scrutinizing the trades they make with the Lakers. After publicing fleecing the Mavericks many teams are not willing to help the Lakers and it will probably be a couple years before that effect really dies off. Most of the realistic trade talk I've seen really favors the other team when they deal with LA

  9. Lol doesn't make any sense at all. You wanna play Spida, Bron and Harden in the same team and trade Allen. Who gonna defend? lol

  10. problem is that best decision makers in the world might not know basket that well, for them to be able to make best decision. If they select wrong players around luka…it is all for nothing.

  11. I like how the Lakers did not offer LeBron an extension and he spun it by saying he didn't want one 😂😂😂😂😂
